if people want to thank somebody that is what the thanks button is for
smiles.gif
however i do appriciate that sometimes after lots of swatches and such it is nice when somebody is making a post anyway to say thanks to that person. at the end of the day use the thanks button when you want, if you never want to use it that is fine! if you want to say a personal thanks in a post you are making that is fine too

And do the misunderstandings and disagreements really matter?

I will say though, that it does take a lot of personal time to take pictures, swatch, write reviews, answer questions, do comparison swatches & questions, & remember color descriptions & travel to get the scoop - & yes sometimes get a name reversed or forget one thing

yep yep... if we want to take the philosophical approach, we are the most vain and silly women on the planet -- the fact is, all a human being really needs is their health, water, food and some shelter.. a bit of kindness and love also helps. All the rest, is really superfluous.. so, to respond to your query, no, misunderstandings and disagreements don't really matter at all -- but there is a lot to be said for civility and kindness towards all

I went to look at the lippies today:

Perpetual Flame is absolutely gorgeous, perfect pink red. Not as bright as Revlon's Cherries in the Snow for example, much more wearable. Perfect for autumn!

Unlimited is also very nice but a bit more common.

The rest were a bit blah, Overtime is not what I was expecting, it looks a bit orange on me ¿?

They last soooo long, I swatched a few on the back of my hand and had to use eye makeup remover to clean them, but they didn't feel drying!

I also tried the new concealer and I'm pleasantly surprised, but it does feel a bit dryer than Moisturecover

correct. if we are here talking about makeup, we should not be upset if someone's opinion on a product or app method, or suggestion on colour is different.. makeup like beauty is subjective.. this is a mu forum therefore subjective. I am glad you agree on kindness and civility.

I'm late to this party so does anyone know if these foundations/concealers have spf? I can't seem to find anything saying that they do, but maybe I missed something. I can't use products with spf and I'm really waiting of Mac to come out with a foundation and/or concealer that doesn't tear my face up.

I can't bring myself to buy drugstore make up except on very, very rare occasions. Only one item has ever worked out for me. I think I'm a snob.

I like the way you put that! Everyone has their different methods and it is all subjective. This is a place to share them

i don't think you're a snob. if you've not had good experiances i don't blame you for not buying drugstore stuff!

personally i love drugstore mascaras - maybelline do great ones! and revlon colourstay and photoready foundations are staples to me!

I love the L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara and I just bought a Cover Girl eyeliner b/c Temptalia used it in a look and I can't find that color in any other brand.

the higher the SPF, the less the longwearability. that's why this only has 10. the concealer doesn't have SPF.
