MAC - Prolongwear Discussion

I bought the mac moisturecover concealer recently and the colour match is wrong and I am not crazy about the coverage either. I've never returned anything to MAC before, but I may return this and trade it in for the pro longwear concealer or foundation. Do you girls think pro longwear would concealer would provide more coverage?

I can't bring myself to buy drugstore make up except on very, very rare occasions. Only one item has ever worked out for me. I think I'm a snob.

Ok, that is a very interesting & informative piece of info!

^ besides, anything over spf 15 is really a moot point per dermatologists.. you should be wearing your spf/sunblock beneath your mu

I will wait to see the lip colors in person.

Ooh! I can't wait to hear what you think of these. Which foundation shade did you get, NC15? I'm hoping to try this out during my "find a new damn foundation" marathon, but not having NW15 makes it harder.

You know, even if I found the perfect foundation, I would still have to try something new

I got the NW15 in the Concealer & NC15 in the foundation. We'll see. I'll get a sample of the NW20, but I'm sure it won't work.

Are you getting any of the ls? I think I am going to get Overtime & Perpetual Flame - <---that is a Pink/Cranberry/ Raspberry girl!

Oh, for this foundation, the really hot MAC artist was wearing it & she said she used the 130 brush to apply it. Dang, it looked so flawless.

So we starting making the testers for the foundations and concealers yesterday, so naturally I started playing with it. I didn't get a chance to play much though since we were busy. I'm going to have to make a sample of of the products though to play with at home though. Be warned, some of the colours seemed lighter than normal.

I'm an NC30 across the board typically, but NC30 looked really light yesterday and as it set it didn't really oxide any darker. It does seem a little tacky to me though, but I didn't use any setting powder so maybe that will help. The foundation and concealer are both cases of a little goes a LONG way. I made a half a pump of concealer on the back of my hand and it covered the back of my hand with lots of excess. So be careful not to put too much on.
