More thoughts to share:

I wore the foundation yesterday for my whole shift. I put it on at 1:00pm using a 190 brush. After I applied it, I also used my fingers to melt it a little bit since you do have to work quickly with this foundation I'm noticing. I then did some spot concealing with the concealer. I did set it with the prep and prime transparent powder though. Be sure to use a brush with synthetic fibers. Any regular hair brushes seem to really absorb the product (same as with a sponge).

I must admit I was actually impressed. I didn't do any touch ups at all for the whole shift and it was still in place when I got home at 10. The colours do run a bit light though so I would definitely do a swatch test before purchasing. I'm going to probably have to buy an NC35 now since for gratis I put NC30, but NC35 is what I wore yesterday and even that felt a little light sometimes.

As for the lips. If you like velvety textured lips, I think you'll like these a lot. I haven't been able to test the long wear claim yet. If you use any lip conditioners before applying, make sure they are fully absorbed before applying and if you put gloss over, those will cut into the longwear of the product. I went and looked at the goodies...the only lippie I liked (and got) was perpetual flame. It is truly gorgeous!!!

I also got a sample of the foundation to try - I can't wait to try it tomorrow. My MA said you do have to work fast with it (I know someone else mentioned that too).

So here's the thing...now I think I want at least 4 of these lippies. Perpetual Flame and Unlimited are must have gimmies. Till Tomorrow is tugging at my "I love nudes" heart strings and Faithfully Yours might be the perfect cooler toned vampy shade that I've been wanting.

In addition to those 4, other colors I originally had no interest in what so ever are also looking awesome now...

I was never a fan of the slimshines. The only one I had was High 90s from Cool Heat, and I only wore it a handful of times. It was just way too sheer for me. It looked great on my sister so fortunately, it didn't go to waste.

kirsch was always a mattene that i regret not getting! and yes slimshines are not my fave either - i have troipc glow from cool heat and it's way too sheer and too melty!

That's the shade that is on the top of my 'to buy list' along with Perpetual Flame and Goes and Goes. Must buy Extended Play first for fall.

I'm trying to kill the next six minutes before I let myself leave for an early lunch to go to Nordstrom's and check out the lippies. (So what do I do? Read Spektra to get myself all the more excited!)

I'll probably swatch most of these, but after seeing Temptalia's pics the ones I want to try most are Extended Play, Goes and Goes, Faithfully Yours, Love Forever, and Till Tomorrow. Of course, this will likely change once I get there!

Two minutes to kill, then we go shopping! Can't wait to come back and share the haul love.

Well, i don't care for the lip products.

However, i do hope the new concealer will do the same/a better job than Select Moisture Cover. I'm mad MAC are discontinuing this one. That was the only concealer that doesn't settle in my fine lines

I adore Mattenes and really wished they'd keep them

I only have three (Rougette, Kirsch and Night Violet) and really wish I had gotten more. I cannot stand slimshines though, they're more like lip balms to me. And I have lip balms that last longer than slimshines. I gave all of mine away except for Swelter (LE - Cool Heat) that I wear during the summer.

If these new lippies are anything like Mattenes, I'll be all over them. I'll start with one and see how I like it though. But def not the one that's like Chatterbox. That lipstick looks aweful on me, like my skin looks sallow or something. I can rock Snob and Pink Nouveau anyway but not Chatterbox :/

Oh, did anyone compare these lipsticks to Nars's new pure matte lipsticks in terms of formula? Inquiring minds would love to know!
