wow, y'all love candy yum yum tha tmuch? How does it compare to Gulabi or girl about town. I ran from it when I saw it. And I can't believe the lipsticks sold out in TWO DAYS!!!
I actually liked the colors in the quad, and the giggly and sakura... color me surprised. LOL But I am starting to slow down on getting excited about the new LE collections. Unless it is something I just have to have like Flaunting, MC, or Pcocky... I'm either saving my money or looking at other brands. OH who am I fooling, I will always end up buying something from the collections. LOL

I'm so checking this out with playing koi at MAC next week - it's my first ever store visit! I was wondering about getting a MAC MUA to do my make up - look incorporating either CYY or Playing it Koi.... Do you have to book for this? And pay a fee? Or is it like other counters where you just ask on the day?

You can use CYY much lighter & it is still beautiful. But only do whatever you are comfortable wearing.
Just call your local Mac counter & ask what their specifics would be for doing your makeup. If they aren't too busy, they are always willing to help you out with color

I got Sakura, CYY, and Quite Cute in the mail yesterday and I love ALL of them. I'm in NW20 if anyone needs a reference.
I didn't have issues with QC being patchy aside from my lips being dry (Russian Red has really dried them out lately when I have worn it this past week). Does anyone know of a good lip balm or lip scrub? I used to use Carmex but it started making my lips crack.
CYY is so perfect! I love love love it. Sakura is also beautiful. I'm glad that it is a rosy lavender and not straight lavender.
Now I just need to pick up In Synch and Naked liners. Still contemplating Playing Koi.

[/quote] I hardly ever experiment with colour as far as lipsticks go so if I did nab CYY it would be lightly does it
I'll definitely give them a call tomorrow as I think it would be fun to see what looks they'd come up with, thanks for the advice

Playing Koi - any peachy, pinky, lipgloss looks really good over it. I used a lovely pinky peach lg from the new Smashbox kit over it & it was really really pretty.

You do know that mac.com had crash issues right? It was posted here a few times - maybe you missed it.

the blush really looks nice on you. Funny thing is that i was going through my collection of pink lipsticks and i was thinking how pink nouveau fits in this collection also.
Not the greatest of pictures, but I took this yesterday after slapping on some makeup and going out to do errands. Pink Nouveau l/s goes well with the Quite Cute collection. Here I am wearing the Quad and Giggly blush w/Pink Nouveau.
