That's a great thought! I am still unsure if I should get Dirty Plum and the purple blush here.

^I hope your DH doesn't kill you when you purchase the entire collection. I'm planning on getting the entire collection as well but right now I'm sticking to my orginal list that I made a few posts back.

Perhaps I'll end cutting off the lippies and most of the lipglosses, I'm more a Chanel lip kind of girl.

ok...here are some thoughts on my wishlist items...

All 4 blush ombre <-- definitely getting all 4. if not, at least 3.
Both pigment stacks <-- the stack jars doesn't look at practical as the normal pigment jars, which is kind of leading me towards taking them off my list

Cha Cha l/g <-- do i seriously need this?
Almondie l/g <-- and this too? does anybody think this is unique enough?
Lavender Wind l/g <-- no one is going to able to talk me out of this. unless it looks totally ridiculous IRL

Straw Harvest e/s <-- yellow orange? i don't even use my orange and yellow from the M.A.C collection that much. hmm...the real reason i'm even thinking of getting this is because it's a VP (what a sucker)
neutral quad <-- still a bit on the fence about this, but leaning towards getting it. it's just too pretty to pass

if anyone can talk me out of getting any of these...it'll be greatly appreciated

I have bought virtually every quad that has been released in the past 2 years- it's nearly impossible to choose just one!-, but i think the neutral quad is the first one I'm going to skip. As I mentioned before, it's all too shimmery for me- that was the one thing, imo, that prevented the photorealism quad from being "perfect"- the fact that all the colors were like shim shimmery.

But, I do love the name of the bronze color "Creole Beauty"- that just reminds me of beautiful Louisiana

But nah, none of the colors jumped out at me for this one, unfortunately.

I agree that there is alot of frost going on. Funny thing is when I first got into MAC in 2006, I am all about the frost/shimmer/glitter... now, 6 months from turning 30, not so much.

I do love it still, but since then, I have learned to mix textures on my eyes. Little shimmer, little satin, little matte... I have started leaning towards quads with multiple textures, all in one place. It encourages me because they are all together, and meant to be used to together. I passed on the Photorealism quad cause of the shimmer overload too. I will pass on neutral quad, but will be jumping all over that purple one!
