I wore Magnetic Attraction MES on my lid this weekend and tried to pair it with Rich Ground fluidline. I couldn't see Rich Ground when I was applying it. The color was too similar to Magnetic Attraction to be visible. So I switched to Local Wares fluidline. I see what liba means about the extra smooth texture. I'm glad I gt a BU. It does look like Avenue in the pot, but I see the muddy green color when applied to the eye. Avenue is more brown when I wear it. Next time I need to pair Rich Ground with another color, probably a green or burgundy shadow. It looks so pretty.

OhSoJaded, I called yesterday and they sold the last CC a few days ago. The SA did tell me that she may have a new one at home and if so, then I can have it. I'll PM you if it works out.

It definitely looks like avenue - it's just got a better texture and goes on more opaquely in one pass. I didn't have a BU of avenue, so I got one, but I'm keeping it sealed for now.

I went to MAC today. I made a pit stop at the Styleseeker display while I was leaving the store. I wanted to swatch the blush again just to see how the colors compare to what I already have. I first swatched them at the pre-release party event, but I wasn't really paying attention to the colors at the time. Wordly Wealth was replaced with Raizin on the display. Supercontinental seemed a little ashy on me. Hidden Treasure is pretty, but I do have similar.

The display still had testers out for all four eye shadow duos. I swatched only On the Hunt because that's the one I remember liking the most from the pre-release event. I admired the colors, but left the store empty handed. I didn't get very far. I stopped walking and took another moment to stare at the swatches on my arm. Then I turned right back around and got it. I was lucky because I got the last one. I didn't plan to get any of the duos, but On the Hunt kept nagging at me. Now I'm thinking about going back to swatch Marché Aux Puces. I remember liking the orange shadow at the event as well.

I do this, too! All. The. Time. I thought I was the only one.....lol!

So, I bought the last Worldly Wealth blush at Saks today

You are all right - its very pretty on. The touch of peach makes it very wearable for me. I think it works really well with all the bright red/coral/orange lipsticks I've been wearing lately. I do wish is was not a frost, but it was still subtle enough.

I really would be surprised not to see them at CCO's. Duos are a typical candidate to end up there. And I don't mean that the quality is bad. If I wouldn't have purchased most of the shades last year in the European release, I would have bought at least two duos. It's just that most duos, trios, and quads are "CCO material," even items from hot collections such as Fafi or Heatherette (which I just saw a few weeks ago in two CCO's in Texas).

Mac-Guy - Thanks for the interesting info! I never paid much attention to duos & quads - either in store or @ cco's. I prefer to come up with my own color combinations. But I wonder if there will be any duo's left from Style Seeker to send to a coo?

I was hoping to get the "On The Hunt" eye shadow duo, but it is now Sold Out on-line and in my local shop - which is holding the few other things i want from Styleseeker (i'm not home yet, just on the road - it's a looong drive to San Francisco from Ithaca NY). Nordstrom and Macy's are both sold out of this duo, too.

Can anyone suggest dupes - or at least something close - for Raving Mad and Star Myth? Christine of Temptalia recommended some dupes, but the closest ones were also LE and i don't have them. If this came up already, my apologies, i haven't been reading every single post on this topic - i searched the thread and didn't see any suggestions, but i could have missed them.

Booo. To get palettes or not...I just spent $90 on Urban Decay tonight getting a smorgasbord of vintage eyeshadows for $6/each.

If you could afford it I would unless you are set on getting the new ones. I just got an old style blush palette and really like it. I like the looks of the new ones but I could see becoming OCD with keeping them clean. I hate hate hate messy makeup lol. I see lipstick tubes on blogs with lipstick on them and I cringe lol. I wipe mine off if I do that which I try to avoid. Yes, OCD lol.

Yeah I might break down and just get 4 blush palettes, even though I think that's way more than I need, even if I kept the 6-pan insert in there. I really want to keep all my MAC blushes together. Idk if I would want to get some 15-pan eyeshadow palettes though, or if I should just keep with the Z-palettes. I have one Z-palette filled with Urban Decay shadows, I bought the other shadows on Urban Decay's site because I have 3 extras that won't fit into the palette, so I totally understand the OCD! LOL. I have some etsy palettes for my drugstore, Rock & Republic and my Urban Decay Book of Shadows stuff. I think I'ma be up to my ears in palettes anyway, and I think the old style palettes are a much better price to swallow.

Well I just did an inventory, I have 15 MAC blushes and 33 eyeshadows, but some of the eyeshadows are in special packaging, so not sure if I'll depot those anyway. 2 blushes are the HS ones, so maybe I'll depot them anyway since I have a BU of each. Hmmmmm soooo which one blush should I add to my cart to make an even number?


Edit: ohh nevermind! I have Harmony blush that was mixed in with my bronzers. Yeahhh buddy! Still though, wondering if I should just grab another blush and keep Harmony with its bronzing/contouring cousins.

Agh, forgot I got a CP coming in the next week, so that rounds out my blushes. Woop!
