I do the same thing with our pup Lola and I wave to her in the window as we drive off. I also make sure she has lots of food & water in case something happens while we're out(overly psycho paranoid)
...speaking of my lovely doggie are we really going to discriminate & only have a team cat smiley?

Hahaha OMG I do the same! And in my top drawer in my night stand I have a pouch which contains my passport and Pumpkins's passport and health card in case we'd have to go somewhere fast. Needless to say i have her basket and a bag of food ready at all times. One time we had a big earthquake and a long set of aftershock waves and I was all set and ready with my kitty in her basket outside with other neighbours

Jeanette went to sleep but in the morning I bet she'll go straight to the dog team smiley creator

I totally agree! I always give Coach a bit kiss and hug before I leave. And he always has a ton of food and water just in case. I love coming home to him everyday because never fails he is right at the door when I get home with a nice LOUD meow!

Moxy, you are so right and I do the same thing. My cat wakes me up every morning at 4:30 with a kiss on the face. Usually cats don't do that, but he does it everyday. So of course I feel guilty leaving him to go to work, so I tell him that mama won't be gone long and I leave the cartoons on for him. Ha! I may be crazy, but he's my heart.
