yes! i'd love a collection with that theme

i can't wait to see what we're getting in 2011, but hopefully MAC will chill out a little and not put out so much! it's overwhelming!

but sadly i doubt they'll let up with the collections - they wouldnt make as much money otherwise? they thrive off us obsessed make up junkies!

sorry i should have explained. it means that before the collection or product is released it is given a name while they work on it. for example a brown shadow could be called 'poop' while they work on it. but when the collection is officially announced it is actually called 'poo'.... bet you love me for saying that!

yeah, but when products aren't selling as well maybe they'll slow down a bit. economic downturn and all that.

it basically means that RIGHT NOW, that's what the collection is called but it may change before it's finalized. like when bands do demos for their albums - the song titles and arrangements might get tweaked a little bit but it's essentially the same song as what'll be on the album.

yeah it is a bit confusing. i think the collection is going to be called Stylishly Yours, but maybe the Red Twins name is related to the products? like they'll be red and maybe come in two parts? iduno, i'm just speculating.

Kinda off topic: Just imagine if MAC gave us dedicated consumers the opportunity to create/inspire a product/collection title?? Like that Microsoft campaign - 'Windows 7 was my idea'......no, like seriously it was!

It would be out of this world i'm sure!!

MAC needs FOCUS groups!!!! With consumers!!!! I'm sure they probably do have something as such, but i'm yet to get the MEMO!!!

hell yes! they should use specktra as their focus group because the ideas on here are usually so much better than what they come up with! and we wouldn't have daft repromotes of colours nobody really liked much in the first place

i think that would fit with this, and maybe a warmer toned gold with coral and peach veining. then some solid colours too like comfort/by candlelight but different because they've been out so many times in this past year.

That would be an awesome idea spunky! A lot of us has creative ideas on what proudcts that MAC should do and not just throw in some repromotes every 3 months or so.

Focus groups? MAC reads all the big fan boards. We even get what we want sometimes. Remember pigment stacks from last Spring Color Collection? Who do you think started that thread? That WAS a focus session- would we buy that? It sold out. So where's more of those?

But did you notice we got reformulated piggies and a tutorial on using them? Somebody is trying; But somebody higher up is not in the game at all. They also got smaller and so pricier. Good job Somebody.

Last year we got two Christmas Money collections (Post X-mas) that were about a naked face. So we know one is the same thing again....
Somebody in charge of marketing decided that THEY were tired of color after Holidays so we get Boredom Collected.

Along the Gulf Coast Christmas is just a warm up to the main event of Carnival. We're still cutting cane most Christmas Days- But 12th Night sets off the Party 'Till You Drop Season! No snow, lots of ballgowns. Two months of.

So what about our third of the country New York???

And where's our Queen's Sin? Five years, people. We want our lipstick.

Oh gosh! I've just googled Queen's sin since I was not into makeup when it was released and ... I seriously need that lipstick! I don't own any red lipstick so I won't buy any other but that ... that's it! I'll lose my red-lipstick-virginity just with Queen's sin

Definitely has to be a red lippy in this collection.

I am glad to have my backup of Hypnotizing, but I've since gone on a matte kick.
If MAC would bring back Velour, I'd be one happy woman, since it's essentially the same color as Hypnotizing, but with a matte finish.
