actually that's what im doing because i have no self control what so ever over these liners. plus i use eyeliner everyday so it'd be fun to switch it up and not always use black. i will be getting all but 2 of them.

My waterlines are so sensitive

I wear contacs and that's also not the best for something like that. What can you put on your waterline when you're so sensitive? Blacktrack?

My eyes water too when I wear make up in the middle outside angle from my lashes, do you know where I mean? Don't know how I can explain you, has it a name?!

Aww you poor thing! I know how it feels, I've just finished with my exams and I'm completely beaten up lol... I'm thinking of getting myself a treat too (not this collection though).

Forgive me if this is already been asked, has anybody tried shrapening these liners yet? I keep hearing that they are really soft and I wanna make sure that they don't break when you sharpen them.

I'm heading to MAC today to get Rave, Black Russian and either Wolf or Bankroll

In my experience the line is not that thin. But Audrey, get one, get the colour you like best and you'll see

YAYYYY I am home with my Wolf liner. None of the cremesheens really grabbed me, I prefer mattenes and slimshines and I usually just use lip conditioner anyway...I also liked Black Russian which I might go back and get, all the others were too bright/intense for my taste. It has awesome staying power, though!

I picked up Wolf and Rave

Rave is BEAUTIUL I am in love! I am planning to pick up Fly By Blu if I like the way these apply, I will try them out tomorrow.

I just came back from the counter and my review...

The liners are pretty but not something I would go ga-ga for. However, I love the staying power on them ONCE THEY DRY. Yes, they have to dry for about a minute or two and it will be smudge free. The colors are indeed nice but not as bright as you would expect them to be (such as the UD liners). UD liners smudge, these don't. They are VERY CREAMY though and the tip of my black russian just broke off :\ So be careful when applying these or when sharpening.

I purchased Black Russian, Rave and Fly-By-Blu.

I wanted to get Bankroll but eh it was a bit sheer compared to the others. But very pretty. I figured I can get the same effect with my emerald green pigment and MM.

As for the shadows, I did swatch them on my hand, and it took about 5 swipes for the color to actually show up. lol
Now I am not saying that they are worthless. And although I didn't buy any, they are pretty and they do work well over a base. All the MAs wore a different duo and they were all pretty. Especially, Team Violets, Ocean 2, & Shallow v. Deep. But since I like my MAC shadows round and in a palette. I didn't buy them. A lot of them as have dupes in the perm line as well.

This is the first time I guess that a new collection has come out and there is no business in the discussion thread at all

I mean remember the day when Heatherette came out? We had 10 or more new pages within an hour? This tells a lot about a collection I think.

Agreed Susanne. Completely agreed. I think MAC dropped the ball on this collection with exception to the liners.

Eh I don't think it has to do with its popularity. I mean this collection is really nice but since we have so much to look forward to, people are wanting to save up, especially for everyone's favorite - HOLIDAY COLLECTION!

And the US economy is down the drain, this also is why we want to save for something we know we will like and wear instead of buying on an impulse.

So my exams are over (thank goodness!) and I treated myself...

oh.. I was planning on only getting a couple... and well..

I bought all the liners...I'm a glitter addict (that could be the problem).
But I LOVE them. These liners just suit me.

But funny thing... I didn't bother looking at the duos...eehh was how I reacted to them. Nothing special there. I wasn't impressed enough to even try them out. Maybe because I was too busy drooling over the soft shimmer of the liners.

But I looovvveeee my liners... LOVE'EM!!!!

I made a special trip to Macy's just to check out the collection. I've been back and forth on whether I wanted some or not for weeks. I was disappointed with everything... EVEN the liners! (I know, Blasphemy!) Yes, they did look pretty swatched across my hand, but in reality I know I would not use these regularly! So score one for will power, this is the first collection I've skipped since the beauty powder blushes.

I totally agree with you Suanne. This collection is really nothing to get excited over IMO. I went to Macy's today and ended up getting nothing. I just don't think that I would use these liners very much since I am so attached to my kohl powers and fluidlines.

Also I RARELY pass up eye shadows but these were so bleh! Most of them looked chalky and non-pigmented. Plus I have money buring a hole in my pocket from my birthday. Oh well more for Ungaro and the holiday collections. It feels strange to not get anything from a collection.

Well, I looked forward to this collection only for the liners, and I was not disappointed! Anyone with any doubts really should see these babies in person. I totally went in thinking that I was going to buy Wolf, Fly-By-Blu, Rave and maybe Bankroll. Once I got there, saw them and swatched them, I ended up with Wolf, Fly-By-Blu, and Miss Fortune. I just knew that Miss Fortune was out of the question for me because when I saw the pics here, I instantly chalked it up to being similar to Foxy Lady Eye Kohl, and that thing had me walking around looking zombie dead or something. I was totally thrown for a loop by the prettiness of Miss Fortune! I didn't get Bankroll because it looked just like UD's eyeshadow in Vert to me, and I have that so I could use it to line if the feeling hits.

All of these colors are beautiful, IMO. I didn't want Black Russian because I've already got a couple of Nightsky Softsparkle pencils and, although these Pearlglides are "sheenier" (seriously made up word!) and not so glittery, they're still in the same ballpark for me. If you're at all into liners you owe it to yourself to check these out.

But... I still think that the UD 24-7 pencils are the absolute bomb.
