Did you get Sheer Seduction from this collection? That might be a pretty "nude with a little extra something" to help you feel more exciting than just a nude? OR if you didn't, top your nude with a shimmery nude lipglass (ie Flash of Flesh)! Let us know what you wear on your lips... and GOOD LUCK doll!

You were in my brainz, Pixie! I planned to wear Flash of Flesh over my lipstick, but stupid me forgot it at home. My lips did not feel as special as I wanted them to. I've got Sheer Seduction and haven't really loved it. You're right that probably would have been the thing to give my nude some pop. I'll rock it with BMS another time. Thanks for the well wishes!


Also shout out to my girls Prettypackages and CartoonChic for your support this week. Both were willing to help me out in a pinch and they had to deal with me spazzing out via text and phone calls. I literally blew up CC's phone; it cut us off from talking - twice. LOL. I really adore and appreciate the friends I have made here!

I got a sample of the golden elixir strobe liquid from one the awesome MAC girls. They had sold out but she gave me some to try so I could at least order it online. I love it mixed with my mineralize foundation. It gives me the perfect glowy dewy look without being too sparkly. I ordered a bottle last week from Belk and possibly regretting not buying a BU as I may have to wear this combo everyday. Anybody have other suggestions to get this look? I have never tried the luster drops do the do the same thing?

Lustre drops would do a very similar thing as well. So would the magically cool liquid powder, tho it is being DCd. The regular strobe liquid would work as well. Of course, depending on your skintone, certain colours would work better than others.

Thanks! I tried the regular strobe cream but not the liquid and it was ok. I am around nc15 or nw15 or so I've been told. I really think I am more of a NC. Which color of lustre drops would you recommend?

Sephora is opening in my town next month so I decided to make a go at a PT position and must have nailed it. I guess they offered via their electronic system on Friday, but I didn't see it until today. I was told I would get an email toward the end of next week so I almost totally missed this.

Happened to be digging around the site just on a whim. This all happened very quickly - start to finish 5 days. Not even a lot of time to think about it. They interviewed several hundred and somehow my inexperienced self stood out. I was supposed to be on vacation from work all this week, but now it looks like I will be training FT w/ Sephora during my break. Womp womp. No rest for the wicked I guess.

Wish me luck in getting to work at 8am w/ a full face of makeup. #Mission:Impossible I'm a bit frustrated b/c I don't know if I have anything to wear. I morphed out of the black wardrobe into cheery brights about 3 years ago. Black closed toe shoes? I think I only have boots and it's super hot out. I wish I'd received an email about this offer on Friday.
