Sephora is opening in my town next month so I decided to make a go at a PT position and must have nailed it. I guess they offered via their electronic system on Friday, but I didn't see it until today. I was told I would get an email toward the end of next week so I almost totally missed this.

Happened to be digging around the site just on a whim. This all happened very quickly - start to finish 5 days. Not even a lot of time to think about it. They interviewed several hundred and somehow my inexperienced self stood out. I was supposed to be on vacation from work all this week, but now it looks like I will be training FT w/ Sephora during my break. Womp womp. No rest for the wicked I guess.

Wish me luck in getting to work at 8am w/ a full face of makeup. #Mission:Impossible I'm a bit frustrated b/c I don't know if I have anything to wear. I morphed out of the black wardrobe into cheery brights about 3 years ago. Black closed toe shoes? I think I only have boots and it's super hot out. I wish I'd received an email about this offer on Friday.

That's impressive! You must have been looking GOOD!

Just plan out your outfit the night before and plan your makeup too - lay it all out and you will be able to get that full face on quickly in the morning! You can do this!!

Thanks again everyone. Not sure what I got myself into. Wonder how much training we'll get in artistry b/c we definitely have to become MUAs of some sort. Trained with 5 brands so far and have 4 tomorrow. (Urban Decay woohoo)
