and might i ask where u are from hun??? cant imagine mac not being well known! It was the first department store brand i ever bought. and i know what ya mean my sister gets super bored of hearing about my makeup. my dad actually gets into it tho its cute, he is a artist hippie so he likes colors and the brushes i get he likes to look at cuz they are like paint brushes. i get my artsy side from him. and my pervy humor, he can be embarrassing lol!!! My sister did go to mac wit me tho and it was after AA sold out, she picked up the tester of lorelei and got all excited and said OMG this is what i should be using do u have any like this?? I was sad cuz i couldnt buy it for her or myself. BUT my friend on her debbs somehow magically found two new in box lorelei for my sis and i. I was so happy and when i gave it to my sis she was so excited!!! She is a tom boy and never wants any girl stuff, so if she wants something i have i jus give it to her from pure joy she wants to wear it!!!
Thank You

I am from Austria. If I am talking to someone here and I mention MAC they are always like: "Hum, MAC? You mean Apple, right?"
Maybe I am just talking to the wrong people

I was never the girly kind of girl either. It all started this year, when I was looking for a lipstick for special occasions... then there was this MAC counter and the girl who worked there showed me the lipsticks - i think at that counter, they already know me. I remember one time i went there and the girl was like: "Hey, you are the one who bought "Brick o la" last week, aren't you?". That really surprised me - because I couldn't really remember her.
Haha, your dad sounds like a really cute person

I am glad your friend found Lorelei for you and your sis - it is so beautiful!
I have a friend who sometimes joins me when I am on my lipstick-hunting-tours. She likes lipstick as well but it's not the same. I feel like sometimes it's a little too much for her when I mention the topic once again or I start telling her about new LEs and stuff like that. Then there's also my mother who really likes and enjoys wearing make up. However i think she doesn't enjoy talking about it that much... sometimes I visit a MAC counter with her and she always buys things there but she's not as excited about new stuff being released as i am. I mean it's great to have her with me when i am there and it's also great to have something in common with her now, since we never really shared any hobbies or anything like that. Now we have at least something to talk about (if she's willing to) and that's nice. She even supports my addiction sometimes (and buys me lipstick) which i really appreciate
