MAC The Matte Lip Collection (Oct 9, 2014)

I can't see backing up a butt load of stuff. Hot pink? Fuchsia? There will always be more. Red? Always new reds.

But I did back up Go For It from the "In the Groove" collection, because it's a BLUE violet, and MAC hasn't made another like it. The closest was Pro Longwear Goes and Goes, although i don't like it quite as much - i have one - and the finish is different, less creamy, less depth.

I confess i have hundreds of lipsticks and i don't wear lipstick every day, but it and eyeliner are the things i'm most likely to throw on. I am close to done with my first Go For It and every time MAC says it's making a "violet" or a "blue purple" lipstick i get my hopes up, only to have them dashed because it's just another fuchsia or slightly blue hot pink. I'm not a fan of matte or nearly matte lipsticks, and i'm not crazy about the ones that clearly have a lot of white in the base, so i buy some of the smaller brands, but i don't wear them as much as Go For It.

I also BU'd Caliente which is a Dazzle, so an unusual finish (see my sig), and Firm Form, which is a metallic grey that can be sheer or strong, so it's unlike several other greys that have come out - that are either matte, or flat, or sheer only.

Other than that, well, i'm not a one lipstick girl

Go For It was my very first BU! I'm just about ready to crack it open, too. I didn't buy Goes and Goes because I thought it'd be around and then suddenly it was disco'd and completely gone. It wasn't as nice as GFI, though - duller looking. The only thing even close was Evening Stroll. I still think it's only a matter of time before we get another color like GFI - probably an issue of the pigments being expensive…Cerulean Blue has got to be in there and that's one of the most expensive pigments in existence, as are the synthetic ones that try to imitate it.

Ugh, I know! But as much as I'm telling myself that swatches will satisfy my itch for this collection, I know it's only gonna make it worse. October is so far away!

Yes I saw Myself and will definitely get a few of them! And crisis def averted as a lovely specktrette had a basically new Altered Beige so I am going to be able to replace it! Love this place!

I think Altered Beige or something very very similar will be out again soon. Did you check out the photos of Myself lipstick, that's coming with A Novel Romance? It's also a Lustre and the shade looks very close. I think there will be a happy ending!!! :eyelove: There are a couple of things I really go through that I'll more commonly BU. Fluidlines and colored mascara get BUs when they're the right colors, because those get major use. I've only BU'ed powder products 2-3 times, for Elude (almost ready to break into the BU), Forever Marilyn and Centre of Attention. If they'd bring Lush Light Bronze back, that's one bronzer I'd get a BU of, since mine is half used now. I've never BU'ed a blush once, even though I've been tempted here and there. I just know I will never get through it, although my At Dusk is half gone. I could have gotten a new one with Magnetic Nudes, but held back and now here we have Fun Ending coming down the pike. That will replace At Dusk very nicely, so I can stay on my no blush BU thing.  I was tempted to BU Mirror, but I held off - those two are so nice, I have a feeling they'll just come back again, or something very similar to them will.

If the formula on this collection ends up being as easy to wear as dodgy girl, I'm in trouble. Not drying at all.. But, the downside is the wear time. Looking forward to swatches, promo pics and reviews!

Oh yeah, i saw this yesterday. This fucking troll is despicable. But the funny thing is, is that she doesn't even have all the correct info listed. You see, when people can't steal other peoples' pics directly anymore, and can't remove watermarks, and their ass got shut down cuz they were cropping watermarks, they have to resort to typing out all the shit they steal in a notepad app. And they can't even do that right! Oh wow! I didn't know that. That is my favorite shade of blue and one of my favorite colors in general so this explains why it's so hard to find any makeup that resemble it!!

I mattes and retro mattes! I wore Dangerous today for 8hrs today with problems at all. I would've worn it even longer, but i have to remove my lips when i eat hamburgers, otherwise i end up with a line of lipstick on my chin from my bottom lip :lol:

It is a lipstick goatee! I've mentioned it before, but my mom would always ask me why i would remove my bold lipsticks before eating burgers. Then she finally saw why. She laughed so hard!!! And it's even worse when it's a matte or RM, cuz if it hard to get off the lips, it's even harder to get off the chin!

Yes agree! All of that plus the color is so bold it sticks around longer and usually leaves still a faint hint of color, even after you wipe it off.
Your mom sounds like my mom! She used to laugh at me too!!! But it is much easier to just wipe off and reapply after eating.

Not to mention all the rubbing removes your makeup and makes your chin red! So much easier to remove and reapply!

Yesterday, my 17 month old finally figured out how to open doors, smuggled my altered beige lipstick( my HG favorite lipstick I have ever owned)out of my purse and by the time I realized it, I was listening to the sound of a "plunkkkk" in the master bathroom toilet bowl.... It was tragic. I learned my lesson... Backups upon backups upon backups. I will be on Dr.Phil in 10 years explaining why the hoarding started and start to cry on stage as I recall June 20, 2014

Haha!! Lipstick goatee! I made the mistake of leaving Pleasurebomb on once while eating a burger- turned the bread pink and kinda put me off!
