I know, it seems like a really unique color! My counter was sold out of it, and I had to walk across to another MAC counter just to get it.

Ok, I'm slacking of not getting more Mineralize Blushes! I so need to high tail myself to the mineralize blush bandwagon and get Buddy Up and Bi-Tone!!

Trimmed in Pink is a really pretty color, but I'm thinking that I won't use it much. The only lipstick colors I have in that vein is Lustering, and maybe Girl About Town too, but those 2 lippies are pigmented enough to be used on their own (meaning, I don't really need a lipliner). I think lipliner is a must whenever a really bright or really dark lipstick is used. It defines the lip and makes the outcome more polished and sharp. It stops lipstick from bleeding in to fine lines (not all lipsticks bleed and not on all people, but in case of one does) and it makes the colour last longer when you fill in your lips with a liner before a lipstick.
So cno64, if you don't have a good hot pink liner for your lipsticks, I would pick up Trimmed In Pink. I skipped it just because I have Cranberry cremestickliner and Magenta l/l so I thought I'll be good with those. But TIP is very pretty!

I have Cranberry and Magenta too, but I don't think they are at all similar to Trimmed In Pink.
I guess I'm pretty lucky because lipsticks don't bleed on me. I can do a red lip even without using a lipliner, and yes it doesn't last as long without a l/l, but nonetheless it always fades off into a really pretty stain which I like.

Lipliner gives me a more grown-up look, if that makes any sense.
I like that most of the time, but if I have really dark blue smokey eyes I just swipe Viva Glam Gaga, for instance, over my lips once, with no liner
