RIT or 2 Virtues? I'm only picking one

I do have By Candlelight. Is this too similar to RIT to bother? I want to use either as a blush, not a highlighter only

Appreciate it!

I don't have RIT - But it will be more of a soft peach pink whereas 2Virtues is almost in the tones of Sweetness blush. It definitely is a brighter pink with a hint of violet undertones. HTH

what a fun trip!

It is a naughty store! I was flipping through the latest catalog and there for sure three things I wanted. A blue tank with rosettes on the neckline and ruching down the middle, a bright pink cardi, and an ivory ruffle cardi. Then I go online and find like ten more things!!

I'll say. You can spend a lot pretty darn quick. Plus I also love the home stuff.

It does, thank you. If it comes out more pink than violet, that may be what I'm leaning towards

I posted this in the swatch thread comparing RIT, By candelight and moon river. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...tmoonriver.jpg

The three are pretty similar, although compared to Rhapsody in Two, By Candlelight is a little more on the gold/yellow side, and Moon River is cooler toned and more pink

I was bad today and got In synch, naked, and trimmed in pink liner. So much for trying to be strong and skip these.

I've changed my mind so darn much, I don't know what my last list was. LOL When I go to the pro store I plan on going nuts on products I can't get to otherwise. From this collection I want Mouth Off and Trimmed In Pink liners. I will follow the hype and get Boy Bait. I'm debating if I should get Loud and Lovely and Double Dare. They are my type of colors for sure, but I feel the need to hold back.

Off topic, but can anyone tell me if chromalines are worth it? I'm fascinated by them as a liner. I was looking at the yellow, blue and green ones.

I love them. I have hi-def cyan, white, black black, and process magenta. They are opaque, long lasting, and amazing!

It def. does not have much violet tone to it which disappointed me. However, its still pretty & I actually loved it as an eyeshadow.

Naked liner is absolutely fabulous! I am so glad I ordered another right away after Audrey's review!

Naked is not only perfect for muting the lip color, but its great to go around the outside of your lips (blend lightly with your fingers) to give them a crisp defined look. reshape - define that cupids bow
winks.gif

It also is so perfect for concealing the ruddiness around the outside corners of the lips, nose folds & outer corners of the eyes - or wherever there is shadowing. I am however a very fair NW15. I haven't tried it on the inner eye rim - I think I would prefer a waterproof liner there. But this color is PERFECTION.

I also layered In Synch & Trimmed in Pink over Naked - LOVE! Any various lip colors will be fun to try over these pencils. I only tried Pure Rose over Naked & it was beautiful - really makes the lighter lippies pop subtlely

Bring on more colors & make em perm!

That's a bummer about your TV.

My first request for another color is a cooler/blue toned pink that's as light as In Synch.

I could be wrong, but I think you might like Trimmed in Pink liner

When I bought my TV, I asked the MA specifically get me one with the most violet in it! Same with RIT, I asked for the one with the most pink

Does anyone feel like these liners are like lipstick in a pencil? They are so creamy, I tried layering lipstick over it and I felt like it was a little too much product on my lips! Like the l/l was plenty of color, with maybe a lipgloss on top. Well they're cool!

What a *gorgeous* look! I love that greenish/goldish smokey eye!

So I made the trip to Macy's today and was so so glad to see this collection in person. I had really talked myself out of getting anything. I have enough blushes to last a lifetime and I already have my favorite lip liners and the Cremesheens are perm.....so really, did I was thinking I was going to get off easy....and then, I swatched the new blushes.

They are so gorgeously soft and silky. The texture is what did me in. They are just so SMOOTH! I wanted ALL of them, but stuck to my limit of 3 and got: Rhapsody in Two, Bi-Tone and Sun & Moon.
I wanted them all and narrowing it down to three really had no rhyme or reason. The hubby's fav was RIT and my fav was Sun & Moon - and then for the third I just sort of randomly picked Bi-tone since I just really liked the play of the gold and plummy color on my skin. But I really, really want the rest. Maybe if I'm a good girl and stick to my GMLOL budget, I'll get the rest then.
cutey.gif

Also, the lip liners were softer than I thought they would be. But I am happy with the liners I have, so I skipped them. I hope they become perm though. Maybe then I'll check them out.

The only other MAC item I picked up was Studded nail polish from Riveting. So far, I've only swatched it on one nail, but I really like it. Silvery, but matte. kinda different for me, but I like it.
Also, I wandered over to the Chanel counter and bought 3 of the Rouge Coco l/s (Camelia, Ruban Rose and Rose Comete) and Maline Glossimer.
