Elegant, how long did you keep Rose Comete on? I find that the scent/taste does lessen quite a bit fairly quickly....I think the frostiness of alot of them (and the mention of coppery in the color descriptions) makes them look old ladyish so they might as well have a scent to go with that, right? lol

You know, I really agree on the frosty thing too! I wore it for several hours. Hubby told me to leave the cap off & see if that helps with the smell.

That's a good idea. I definitely don't like the smell either, but I can tolerate it better than some others. Actually I'm amazed that you guys are talking like this about a lip product scent that I can tolerate!

For a higher end lipstick I think I prefer Armani - no scent:

The smell of the Chanel lipsticks does seems to fade....I may keep Rose Comete, but I do think the other 2 are going back.
Those Armani ones look *gorgeous* especially the beige shades, talk about the perfect nude lippie!

Ahhh, that's so disappointing about the Rouge Cocos!!!

I really wanted one or two as a splurge for this month. I'm really sensitive to the smell of products though, so this scent y'all are talking about would be a dealbreaker for me. (I couldn't even handle the vanilla-ness of the Lipgelees, wayyyy too strong for me.)

What has been the general opinion for Two Virtues? A thumbs up or a thumbs down? More pink or more purple? Glitterbomb or not? Inquiring minds need to know/be enabled.

Ladies, is the scent of Rouge Coco like Hydrabase? I like the Hydrabase scent and although I initially didn't like the scent of Rouge Allure, I got use to it eventually. All the talk about the unappealing scent of Rouge Coco is making me nervous. The rose scent of Rimmel lipstick makes me nauseous.

I got it, and like it ok, but it's not overly unique. It looks TOTALLY different on my hand compared to my face. The lavender is very obvious on my hand, but on my face, it just looks like the typical bright blue pink blush. Definately not a glitterbomb... It has very pretty shimmer, but nothing over the top. I think it's a safe skip if you have a bunch of other brighter pink blushes. If not, I'd say it's worth the money... it really just depends what you already have in your collection

I have been so busy lately, that I haven't even gotten around to playing with Sun & Moon and Two Virtues yet! Hubby took me to Atlantic City and I won some $$$ so I won't feel so guilty now for LOL on thursday

A woman behind me by the slot machines won $10,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like "WHY NOT MEEEEEEEEE????????????"

She acted like it was no big deal. I would have been jumping around like a crazy animal lmao...


But on another note, today was such an exciting day for me because.......... Hubby "upgraded" my brush holder

I liked the one I originally had, but was running out of room so I needed a bigger one. I couldn't wait to get home and "play" with it hahaha. I'm going to use my original holder for my liners and GPSs that I will be buying from Art Supplies

I just wanted to share with you guys since you are all makeup addicts like me and would understand why I'd be so excited

Now back to the collection- I have decided that I will be returning Rhapsody in Two. I like Moon River way more that RIT, so for $23 I can't justify keeping this just to look at!

I am LOVING In Synch, though.

It is just the absolute PERFECT base for a pale nude pink lip! I love this with Phlox! I also wore this with Lollipop Loving

. When I wear Lollipop Loving alone, you see more of the coral. Wearing In Synch under LL brings out the pink in the lippie- OH SO PURRTY!!!!!

Without hesitation I will be getting a backup of In Synch!!!!!!!!!! I still, however, don't see the creamy texture most of you are going crazy about

. I just don't see or feel it! But I'm really loving the color so this is a must and a great addition to my makeup collection!!!!

i sikipped this collection.. mite get somethign when I go for SCF thid weekend... Naked was too pale on me, not sure if ti wud work for darker skin tones? The creamsheens looked pretty.. I liked SUn and Moon tho the rest looked like somethign I already own.. One fo the blushes (dont remember which one) reminded me of Ambering Rose and one of Hot Planet (swirled together).. Two Virtues looked like a hot pink on me and the lightest one was a definite skip.. I may just take a re look at sun and moon

Talking about lipstick scents, I think the worst smelling lipstick I've ever had was from Estee Lauder. I only used it once, and never will I be touching it ever again. Eww.

I love the smell of MAC lippies though.

I got my order yesterday and LOVE the creamsheens! I got Fashion Scoop and Just Superb and Love them both. I also got the liners and I expected to love Naked more, but I really like Boldly Bare more.

I can hardly smell anything when I put on my Rouge Coco, I loved the two I got. It's a very faint rose smell and it disappears pretty much after 5 minutes, at least for me

I picked up two more Naked Liners while I was at Mall of America. I also B2M'd for Satellite Dreams e/s, and I wanted Cultured l/g, but they were out. I'll just hafta wait until I go to Dallas at the end of the month for that one.

The MA there was so sweet. She and I chatted for a short bit, and I mentioned these colors should totally be perm, and she agreed and said I need to e-mail MAC and tell them so. Often if you make enough fuss about a product, they'll listen...look what happened to Cremesheens and Dazzleglasses.

I will definitely e-mail MAC.

exactly! if they don't know how much we love these then they won't knoe we want them perm! i shall email mac too!
