I tried Naked liner under Ravishing l/s and it turned into the most gorgeous milky-peachy-pink I've ever seen that actually showed up on me but in twenty minutes it became a regular orange-peachy Ravishing, just a bit brighter than usual. Which I love anyways
So, Naked liner may lighten your lipstick a little but not dramatically, it blends with lip color eventually
I did apply just a dab of sheer goldish-beige gloss before filling my lips with Naked and smudged the outer edges to avoid a distinct whitish line from Naked around my lip lines. Naked concealed some redness over my upper lip just beautifully
The nude gloss underneath was BE Whimsy, discontinued a while back; MAC Gold Dust might be very similar. I apply gloss or lip balm under all cremesheens lately but many of you don't need to. I'll try that same thing with In Synch tomorrow and see if it adds more pink to Ravishing.
If you have MAC Test Pattern liner, it's in the same pale family with Naked and In Synch, just a touch darker/cooler-pink with some lavender (Stila glaze l/l in Lavender is almost a dupe for Test Pattern, maybe a bit darker).
Scott Barnes lip pencil in See Through Pink, Chanel gloss pencils in Rose Honey and Mandarin and Cover Girl gloss pencils are somewhat close but a little darker and are very sheer. No opacity with those. My palest nude ever (Stila glaze liner in Mocha) looks so dark next to Naked. Philosophy's Nude liner is even darker than Mocha. A pale liner from Body & Soul (Riddle) and MAC Summerfruit look almost orange near Naked. MAC Creamkiss is pinker and also darker with some light brown to it. Before seeing Naked, DH said most of my liners look the same on my hand anyway
Only Specktra folks could really appreciate a nude liner obsession for pigmented lips.
