I wish this collection included a blush, but other than that, I have no complaints. I wore Red Full Stop to work and Hipster when I went out at night. People were looking at my lips all day, especially when I wore hipster. If you can get people in New York to stare at you, then that's saying a lot. I went back to look at faultlessly, but it's way too dark. It reminds me of tribalist, which I rarely use even though it is pretty. New Berry is a color I would've freaked out over in the beginning of my makeup obsession, but now with so many lippies, it's not a unique color in my stash. The cement color lippie would've been so much better if it was a different formula like amplified creme or even a luster.

My dumb a$$ forgot to pick up resolutely red AGAIN! I only remember when I got to the Mac site. I know when style black hits I will forget again. I guess I just need to order it.

Also, I am in love with parfait amour (?) and sushi flower shadows. Yes, I am new to mac shadows and I swatched some last night. I have one full palette now and I'm eager to start the next. These will be the first two in the next palette.

New Berry and Resolutely Red look gorgeous together, and Sushi Flower and Parfait Amour eye shadows are lovely and easy to work with.
(Well, Parfait Amour is one of my favourite purples...

For anyone looking for a lipstick to pair with Runway Fave l/g my pick (instead of Our Pick) is Shiseido Perfect Rouge in BE109 Spiced Cream. They look great together!

I still haven't gotten my lazy behind to Nordstrom to pick up this quad yet. I hope that they still have them in stock on Thursday when I pick up my Style Black stuff.

Yeah, it is definitely a gorgeous lippie.

I'm really glad I got it, it is a lot darker than I expected as well, but it just works so well with my coloring I had to have it.

It's a great wine-y coloured combo. Try it, at least. Also worth enabling is the combo of So This Season and Violetta (MAC Pro). I said it before, but this is the perfect combo for really violet lips. Very modern and funky.

this is the second time waft has come out, the first being with smoke signals. when collections are shown at update, quad colours are shown individually, with "sample" written on the bottom. once all updates are finished, all the "samples" are thrown together and sold at warehouse sales or during basic training, with the proceeds going to the MAC aids fund.

"samples" are different from WNs in that "samples" are the finished product, just not in a palette or special packaging, while WNs are a "name inspiration".

I'm really considering this quad, this quad stands out to me like Gentle Fume and Tempting did!! But I already have Gentle Fume - soooooo, peoples who have both is there a significant enough difference between A Whiter White & Rondelle and Tone: Grey & Gentle Fume to warrant the purchase?

The fact that Waft is in this quad as well just makes it double appealing

There is a big difference in Rondelle than a Warmer White...A warmer White is a Light Grey with a green hint too it...Not sure how the name was given ....Rondelle is almost white to me...this one is not ...It would have been perfect in the Photo Realism Quad because of the hint of green..it is really pretty

Well I caved and got the quad! Actually, truth be told is that I ended up doing an exchange for it with two items that i wasn't at all thrilled with, so I still consider myself sticking to my no buy! The quad is really really pretty, I must say, for a girl that doesn't like blues or greys all that much (even though dark blues work quite well with my finicky skintone). This is a really nice quad for fall.

I have been busy lately so I am mostly catching up on the threads when I can. But next Friday I am having surgery and I have a few weeks of recovery so I have a feeling I will be posting up a storm.
