I knew that I wanted the powder just for the compact, but now I want it for the actual powder, too! It mattified your skin so nicely!

I absolutely love it! Yes, it is matte, but on me it doesn't look dry or cakey at all. It makes my skin look like a porcelain doll

Its lovely.

Bad news: the collection just launched on this side of the Atlantic but it is online only! Plus, the girls at the store have told me that due to bad sales it might change onto limited edition instead of permanent!

Anyone heard something similar/different?

I went to the store here in Canada looking for the colection and it was all sold out. They told me it was limited edition for sure .

Lesson learned! Don't ever trust mac!!! Next time I really want something I'll go to the store on launch date. I will never trust they saying something will be permanent again. I was looking foward to this collection Oh well, on to the next one. I have enough unopened items to keep me distracted for a bit lol .

Okay, I'll post a pic today after I get my face on. It is definitely not matte, but I don't find it really wet and messy, either. It just feels really soft on the lips. I find the formula to actually be somewhat hydrating on my lips.

i know its not matte thats why im wondering would it be ok for me

i bought yield to love and its a creamsheen i love the color the formula cuz it tends to go over the edges of my lips after some time
but id still buy a back up of it cuz the color is sooo goood

If you don't like the formula of cremesheens, then this might not be for you. Out of all of MAC's previously existing formulas, I would say that cremesheens are the most similar to the Ultimate lipsticks. That is my experience with Marque, anyway.

MAC Marque Ultimate Lipstick

I love the shade of this lipstick. It's a very MLBB sort of shade. I would describe it as a nude-coral-rose hybrid with a subtle gold shimmer shot through it. It feels very comfortable on my lips and is lightly moisturizing.

I found the Ultimate formula less "messy" than Cremesheens. It's soft and lightweight, has a feel I would expect from a luxury end lipstick. I will definitely miss the Ultimate formula, not so much the colour range.
