I was at work without access to the website all day, so I ordered over the phone just before 12- so glad I did! I got everything I wanted, now I just need to wait for my little black box to arrive

Did some more experimentation with the collection.

Devilishly Stylish: The more I wear this, the more I like it! I'm wearing it over Call My Bluff and it's created a beautiful, neutral nude lip with a high shine. Youthful for a 30-something like me without being PINK.

Oh So Fair: I am Oh So Glad I bought this! I'm wearing it today and it looks so much more natural and gorgeous on me than Briar Rose. I even bought a retractable kabuki brush so I can keep it in my purse. If OSF is too light on you, Briar Rose will probably do the trick to give you that natural glow.

Bite of an Apple: I wore this on a photo shoot yesterday for two different looks. One was more of a natural look shot outdoors with Hi Falutin' gloss and some mascara. Then I switched to a vampy, pin-up look and was surprised to see it work well with dramatic black eyeliner and a bright red lip. When I get pictures, I'll post some.

Oh - one more question: did any of you save the boxes your goodies came in?

I saved every last box, just like the TTB ones and some of the other pretty boxes from past collections.

for those thinking that resort life is too frosty, try using less product. a little goes a long way!
i usually line my lips with naked lipliner, add a nude lippie (like tom ford's blush nude) and then put on resort life by dabbing a tiny bit on my lips with my finger.

Yay to all that are hauling today!

I wore vainglorious over Brown, Down GPS the other night, with Creme d'Meil inner corner and a little on lid.
Her Own Devices as a countour and blush (waiting on DMD

) and IB.

You know those days when you feel more confident and pretty? This did it.
I LOVE vainglorious. So glad I got it. And it really plays well with Brown, Down.

I was actually happily suprised how Her Own Devices looked. I don't know, but it just was awesome looking.



Today I'm wearing the Too Dolly palette with BR and Violetta

I love playing with these and mixing with other collections for a look.

Oh, and the boxes, they still live in their boxes, prettily arranged. Except for the day's pieces that I'm using, and they get to hang out for the day.

It's a thing...

I haven't saved every box from special packaging collections, but usually will save one or two, like from the LOL and TTB.
I just love these more than any I think. love the sketches on outside.

I don't think I'm going to depot the 2 shadows I got from VV.
I didn't for the longest time. I didn't even depot them. That just led me to not use them as much. so I bit the bullet and depotted, obsessed for months whether to B2M them...

That may be because the predominant colors seem to be purple and red, and I already have sooo much of both of those colors.
For example, I've been on the Violetta bandwagon for quite some time, and I was wearing red lipstick when red lipstick wasn't cool.

Oh, well; I had a great time with Digi Pops, and I expect there's plenty more to come ...

I sure was good today using the GPS under the shadow. A little of it fell onto my cheek and it started to itch, but I cleaned that up and no more problems. I don't have Uniformly Blue. I skipped almost all of those GPS's except for Brown Now. I was disappointed that there weren't any bright colors. I did try SWD over the blue GPS from Dsquared on the back of my hand and it's fabulous. I'll rock that later this week probably.

Yes, get Notable! It's perfection. Oh, if you have Hold the Pose (I think that's the name or Hold a Pose) from the Make Up Arts collection, pair those 2 together. It's gorgeous. Notable=perfect fall cheek.

I ordered about the same time and got my e-mail confirmation almost right away. I haven't gotten any shipping info (and the site says pending) and my box was delivered about 45 minutes ago (I used regular shipping).

If you don't get it today, I'd call CS and see what's up.

I save all of my boxes from everything and use them to help organize my collection. I'm kinda organizationally obsessed (if that's a thing) and I like being crafty, so...

This collection finally launched here (in Australia) yesterday and I finally got to see it!

After reading about all the maddness you guys have been experiencing... it was kind of a let down. I mean I love the collection (although I still dislike the packaging) but there was absolutely no one even looking at the it at my local MAC counter. There I was, salivating over everything and no one else, including the MAs, were paying any attention to it at all. I don't think there are going to be any issues with not being able to get the things I want! (although you pay through the nose for it here

)

Anyway, I am waiting on a CP for BOA and TT and crossing my fingers that it's worked so I didn't really pay too much attention to those. I knew I was going to get something but I didn't know what. I thought perhaps one of the lipsticks or lipglasses but no, I walked away with SWD

I wasn't expecting to as I am not big on eyeshadows and don't really have a clue what to do with it but it was just soooo pretty that I couldn't resist!

After I left the counter I went and had coffee with my husband but there was this little voice in my head calling "French Quarter. French Quarter. Ffffffffrrrreeeeennnnch QUARTER!" and eventually I couldn't ignore it anymore so I went back and got French Quarter.

I had a play with SWD and FQ when I got home and

I love them! So much so that I am now wanting MDM although it's a bit silly as I really won't wear them much...
