Me too. I can't wait. I can tell you I've lived all over the south and I'm in PA now (where TS is from). I've only heard New Yorkers call corner stores bodegas. I lived in Oklahoma and I asked for a doggy bag at a restaurant and I got the craziest looks. They really didn't know I meant a to go box. My accent changed so quick after that lol I was so embarrassed. When TS first came on the scene and I heard she was from PA singing country I thought she was so fake. When we were kids country was out but her songs are so catchy so I overlook the annoying things she does. Not to say that PA isn't country, because it is, but TS is a year older then me and rap and punk rock were popular at the time. Kids in my school got picked on if they liked country music. 

I guess it just depends on the people my hubby and I are very big saints fans we go to this saints bar in our neighborhood and we meet all these people that are from New Orleans and they call them bodegas too, I guess it just depends on the people. I know Taylor swift is from PA but I thought she was raised in Texas

Seeing this post and going through the thread makes me wish MAC would ditch the limited run VGs, at least for a little while, and release some more permanent ones with groups of spokespeople. How about a Viva Glam VII with Laverne Cox and her Orange Is the New Black co-stars? Maybe in a muted coral shade? Or some other colour that hasn't received the VG treatment?

Well bodega literally means wine cellar. I guess it just shows how words' meaning differs around the globe, and how different Spanish can be depending on where you are from.

I'm still mind blown about Miley "enlightening" everyone in North America with the twerking phenomenon like if it was her creation.

She has been with Cover girl for so long, I do not think she would ever do MAC. I wish Adele was more popular she would be great. I always liked her make up.

I use to like her when she first came on the scene with rain drops on my guitar and wore cowboy boots and cute girly dresses. I saw this interview where she tells people what New Yorkers call things like New York slang and when I heard her say " bodega .. A bodega is a corner store that's open all the time and you can find evrything there " I'm likeeee who are you speaking to? Everyone in New York knows what a bodega is and I'm pretty sure people from different states call corner stores bodegas lol idk she kinda urks me now

I did like rain drops on my guitar and a few songs but generally didn't like her music much. It might just be me but I get the feeling she's kind of a mean girl IRL and I don't believe her good girl image. Also on the subject of theNY ambassador thing, I find it really lame that she was chosen. She's lived there a few months and now she's an ambassador...? Just seems weird. Choose someone who really knows about NY, someone who's lived their longer etc. I was watching Wendy Williams and she suggested Sarah Jessica Parker or Alicia Keys, I think they would be ok
