Does anyone have a calorie count on the new SS concealer? Hah, "SS concealer" sounds like a ship.

Well, I kept a medium jar of face primer in the fridge (feels so good on the skin) & dh pulled it out of there one day & asked if it was like a mayo or...is that your makeup

So far so good on the foundation, no breakouts and its wearing well.

Forgot to mention, I am NW20 but got matched to NW15 which is a perfect fit. My ma told me these run kind of dark, though the concealer i was matched to was nw20

People are saying it runs light or dark. It can't be both.

I have a feeling I'm going to have to buy 2 shades and do some mixing and matching. The way I used to use the Laura Mercier concealers.

Okay...if I have the 194 can anyone tell me why I should really buy the 195? I am definitely on Team Stupid, so it probably won't take much, but I do need some reason....

Ok...but I really wouldn't know that having literally never used it since I bought it, lol. So what is better about this new one...in case I decide to actually use it once I buy it?

I don't have the 194, but the 195 is very thin with pliable firmness & the tip is a soft, slightly rounded point. It just applied both so smooth & evenly. Its not a heavy feeling bristle brush.

Just to add a little bit from the matching I got today:

SS Concealer: Really great, so much coverage..buttery but the colors are weird compared to other concealers.. personally I think you need to see them to know witch to get. I'm NC 20 in studio fix and concealers usually and was nw15 with this one !?!

SS Foundation: For me NC 20 was a little dark yellowish so I got NC15 instead. BUT: I looked at darker shades and they seem... different.. you should try them tho.. I don't know how to describe it but the color range seems more variable, different ? some shade runs more yellow others orange or brown or beige... and I LOVE the texture!

will give more feedback later.

Oh almost forgot: I got the 195 and I like it a lot, seriously.

WOW, just tried out the foundation! If this stuff doesn't break me out (like all other MAC liquid foundations do) then I think Studio Sculpt will definitely be a great alternative/competitor to MUFE HD (my current foundation). I find the two very similar in finish - ie, super-awesome-amazing and completely GORGEOUS finish! Studio Sculpt is a bit thicker in texture (it really is a gel) a feels a little bit more sticky than MUFE HD, but not overly so. I think Studio Sculpt would be *great* for dry skin, but would also suit oily skin as well. Both feel very light but provide excellent coverage!

So, as far as I know, I am NC25-NC30 (120 in MUFE HD). But the MA matched me to NW25! I was skeptical, so I had her put NW25 on half my face and NC27 (mixed) on the other half. I could not tell the difference! Both looked great! So I went with the NW25. But, now that I am home and have done my own proper swatch test on my neck (in better lighting I might add - what is up with those department store lights?!?!), I'm pretty sure I'll need to go back and exchange for NC. I mean I'm half Asian...perhaps I'm neutral but definitely not NW! So this means that I'll need to get both NC25 and NC30 if I wanna wear it....my poor wallet! At least it will last a lifetime. Anyway, my point is also that I think it runs true to color. NC25 was too light and NC30 was too dark, and thats how its always been for me with MAC foundations.

Definitely give this foundation a shot ladies! MAC has finally gotten with the program with this!! (That is, if it doesn't break me out! I will be SO sad if it does!!)

I also tried the concealer as well but I found it to be too thick....nice smooth texture but still too thick for me. I'll be sticking to my Moisturecover!
The 195 was also a pass. Just your simple synthetic dome shaped concealer brush. There are tons of cheaper alternatives out there - try the Ecotools brush if you need a new concealer brush! I also prefer to use a natural hair brush for concealer as I find they blend better.....

Anyway hope this helps someone!

^ I'm MUFE HD 120 as well! And I use the Full Coverage concealer in #4. Just wondering, what concealer shade did you try?

NW25, my usual shade. Although I've been using NW25 ever since I was told that your concealer shade should be the opposite of your foundation shade. Is that even common practice? lol. I'm totally skeptical after tonight! I've also heard that you should stick to your tone and just get a shade or two lighter....sooooo

lol, I've heard the same thing about the concealer...but the person who said that was talking about undereye concealing and I'm not sure if that applies when you're using it to cover blemishes/scars. At the same time, I heard that your conealer should be the same ask your foundation, but MAC doesn't even have the SS concealer in NC25 >.< and I also heard that when covering blemishes/scars, using a lighter concealer would just draw attention to it...so many things to think about lol.

I have to check out this product tomorrow on my break time. Since i work in the mall, just checking this out for 10 minutes will be enough. I might even go back after work to get a color match and a sample.

Hi,

I was just wondering what the ingredient list for the Concealer is. If anyone would be kind enough to post it, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!
