Girl you will LOVE this, no doubt about it. MAC really did it this time, I don't think I would want to switch to any other foundation. Not even MUFE!

I use the Studio Fix compact in NW15 and the Studio Fix Fluid in NW15. I feel that sometimes the fluid turns a little yellow on me. Today I got samples of the Studio Sculpt in NC15 and NW15. When I swatched them on my hand and compared them in the daylight, the NW blended well but looked a little more yellow, while the NC also blended well it looked a little paler and looked a little more pink then yellow.

Given the above, would you go with the NW or NC? I'm thinking I'd rather look a little pale than yellow.

I'm debating on when I should actually go and pick this up. I still have my samples so I might wait until I go get my HK stuff. I am so tempted to get it now though haha! I'm glad everyone is enjoying the new foundation though. It really is great!

Just as well it doesn't last under the eyes... on me, it ended up up showing every line and crease. Stuff I didn't know I had.

I don't think this concealer is good for under eyes. I still like that discontinued stick pencil for under eyes.

Okay. I bought this today. Heres my review.

Pros:

1. The Coverage. - They say medium to full, and they really mean it. You could put this on thick if you desired. My MA put it on me very lightly (way too light for my liking since I have lots of acne, scarring, and redness). I went home and washed my face and started with a primer and applied this in a more heavy manner. I tried the 190, 187, and 109 to put this one. This foundation is very thick and I found the 190 left streaks and was hard to blend to a flawless finish. 187 is great if you want it to cover in a light way. But I went back to my 109 because thats really the only brush that helps me achieve full coverage.
2. The Price. 33 dollars (canadian) is a steal considering I pay over 50 for my MUFE HD here.
3. The Color. runs light, which is great, because NC15 is almost too dark for me.
4. The Bottle. is a squeeze bottle, like lotion!! So perfect. It makes applying the foundation to your brush a dream, and Im guessing it would be way harder to get germs and yucky things into the bottle since its capped off with no big open hole like SSF.

Cons:
1. The coverage. is a pro and a con, its very thick and goes on streaky if you don't apply carefully. There is definitely a learning curve to this foundation. It took me much longer then my MUFE hd does.
2. The smell. is like sunscreen. It doesn't bother me but it might bother some people.
3. Blending - since its very thick it doesn't seem to blend as easily as other foundations.

Between this and MUFE hd, I think MUFE hd will probably still be my HG, but I am keeping this, I will use it, its a perfect color match for me. Im going to try and spray fix + with this foundation when I apply it, to give it a more liquid and less gel feeling

Breakouts:

As far as breakouts go, I can't comment on breakouts, most MAC foundations make me break out - so Im keeping the receipt to my studio sculpt, but we will see. MUFE is my HG foundation and I really didn't need a new foundation since MUFE suites all my needs, but its always good to keep your options open. I definitely like the way MUFE spreads and applys much easier then SS, but I think theres just a learning curve with SS and I'm sure I will get a hang out it soon. I will report back as far as breakouts go.

I got the foundation and concealer yesterday and wore it today and I'm so far loving it. In the past, I tried Mac's select cover up in NC30 and broke out from it. I hope the same does not occur with this foundation and concealer. It shouldn't after comparing the ingredient lists.

I was colour matched with NC25 in the foundation and NC20 in the concealer. I only use the concealer on my acne and acne marks and it is a perfect colour match!

I mix in a bit of Nars Aqua Gel Hydrator with the foundation and apply it with the 187 brush. It works amazing! I realize that the concealer requires a concealer brush as fingers just doesn't cut it. It provides me more coverage with my red acne bumps and marks. I just got a normal concealer brush from Sephora.

Just for reference, I used to wear MUFE Mat Velvet+ in 30 and HD Foundation in 118 but both caused me to get cystic acne and clogged pores.

I have pretty oil skin and I just had to blot once. I apply MUFE HD Powder afterwards.

Crossing my fingers that this will be my HG concealer and Foundation!! http://specktra.net/images/smilies/yahoo.gif

Try swatching both shades on your face, near your jawline in natural daylight in stead of your hand. Which ever shade blends in, is the one for you. It is always best to swatch foundation on your face since that is where you will be wearing it.

That is exactly what my MA did with me when she applied this foundation. Spray fix + first all over my face and then take a sponge with the foundation on it, use the foundation brush to apply and it wasn't streaky at all.

And she set it with a natural MSF and it was flawless!!!

What brush should you use to apply it? Im currently using the 109 at the suggestion of my favorite girl at the MAC counter, but the brush advertised with it is 191. Just wondering what your experience has been....

I got samples for concealer (NW20) and foundation(NC20). I matched the same shade as usual. (I kinda think these look darker because of their consistency but are lighter once you apply them on, but that's just my theory).
I'm oily/combination, this morning I applied MAC oil control lotion and just a tiny bit of the foundation w/ 187. The coverage wasn't full... more like medium, which was ok because, like I said, I just used a tiny bit. If you use something like 191 brush, coverage would be full IMO. I love the way it feels on my face, it kind of plumps it (because of moisturizers in it probably) and my skin was soft to the touch. Outside (it was sunny) it looked like I have nothing on. (Btw I forgot to mention that I topped it off with a bit of blotting powder). I can't really judge on the wear because I was in the extreme conditions
lol.gif
(My dear boyfriend was all over me, long distance relationship what can I say) but it held on pretty damn good. By the end of the day it still looked ok. And the most important thing is- I don't think it will break me out!! Yayyy!
greengrin.gif
(Studio fix fluid broke me out within hours! I could feel breakouts coming, literally! Ugh.)

I also applied concealer on any spots and under my eyes, it's so soft and creamy, easy to blend, perfect coverage and it looks really natural.

Also, major love for both brushes!
love.gif
I ordered both of them and also c & f because my counter was sold out of my shade. I don't want to wait until they get it again
lol.gif

So, yeah. So far, so good. I'm happy!

Oh, I forgot to mention- it has this really nice sheen to it. Nothing too shiny, dewy or oily, just natural.
You know how a healthy skin without any makeup just glows somehow? That's what this gives you!
