Okay. I bought this today. Heres my review.
Pros:
1.
The Coverage. - They say medium to full, and they really mean it. You could put this on thick if you desired. My MA put it on me very lightly (way too light for my liking since I have lots of acne, scarring, and redness). I went home and washed my face and started with a primer and applied this in a more heavy manner. I tried the 190, 187, and 109 to put this one. This foundation is very thick and I found the 190 left streaks and was hard to blend to a flawless finish. 187 is great if you want it to cover in a light way. But I went back to my 109 because thats really the only brush that helps me achieve full coverage.
2.
The Price. 33 dollars (canadian) is a steal considering I pay over 50 for my MUFE HD here.
3.
The Color. runs light, which is great, because NC15 is almost too dark for me.
4.
The Bottle. is a squeeze bottle, like lotion!! So perfect. It makes applying the foundation to your brush a dream, and Im guessing it would be way harder to get germs and yucky things into the bottle since its capped off with no big open hole like SSF.
Cons:
1.
The coverage. is a pro and a con, its very thick and goes on streaky if you don't apply carefully. There is definitely a learning curve to this foundation. It took me much longer then my MUFE hd does.
2.
The smell. is like sunscreen. It doesn't bother me but it might bother some people.
3.
Blending - since its very thick it doesn't seem to blend as easily as other foundations.
Between this and MUFE hd, I think MUFE hd will probably still be my HG, but I am keeping this, I will use it, its a perfect color match for me. Im going to try and spray fix + with this foundation when I apply it, to give it a more liquid and less gel feeling
Breakouts:
As far as breakouts go, I can't comment on breakouts, most MAC foundations make me break out - so Im keeping the receipt to my studio sculpt, but we will see. MUFE is my HG foundation and I really didn't need a new foundation since MUFE suites all my needs, but its always good to keep your options open. I definitely like the way MUFE spreads and applys much easier then SS, but I think theres just a learning curve with SS and I'm sure I will get a hang out it soon. I will report back as far as breakouts go.
