The new Studio Sculpt Foundation and concealer is amazing!

I finally went to my counter today and got color matched. I'm normally an NC42. But when we tried the NC42, it was one shade lighter and more yellow. So we went up to NC44 and it was a PERFECT match. It was mixed in with some Strobe cream, then applied with the MAC 187 and buffed all over.

I also have a lot of pigmented scars from healed zits and acne. So we tried the concealer in NC45 and applied it with the MAC 224 brush after the foundation. I am a concealer whore and have tried tons and tons of concealers but this one was different. It's more smoother and applied creamier. Plus it really hid all of my pigmented scars. My whole face looked really smooth and flawless. I was really surprised at the end result. I normally hate fluid foundation, but I think I've found my HG foundation for now on.

And just for us oily combination skin girls. I have had this foundation on for a good 8 hours and the foundation is still on without any fading or melting. I still need to blot with oil blotting sheets every couple of hours but now I only need to do it on my nose. The foundation feels very light and not cakey looking at all. If you are looking for a natural look, definitely give this foundation and concealer a try!

Seriously this is a great two thumbs up for MAC in my head. I needed a new foundation, an awesome one, and MAC out of all of them did it! :

Always good to know they are improving constantly their products.

** And did you see how amazingly you can layer anything from SS and the color still stay true ? It doesn't go darker or look caky at all : amazing!!! ***

This thread is tempting me very badly, especially when so many people with oily skin and acne scars are raving about the products. Will have to check it out when it launches here.

i would say the best way is to just try your normal color on at the store, but go outside and look in the natural light, from what i'm hearing ( and correct me if i'm wrong) about the NC it that it is a tad lighter than SFF how IMO NW is running pretty true just not as "red' a plus for me

I am not sure... I am usually NC45 and I was matched to NC44... If you have the ability to go in to MAC and test the foundation I would suggest that... I just use my MSFN to set it... Works perfectly for me.

Oh my new HG foundation! I tried my sample today and wow, firstly I'll say the foundation went on really well it was easy to blend out using the 187 and coverage was good, just enough and not into the realms of being 'too much'. The finish was matte but again it still had that hint of being a little dewy which I really liked. My face felt soft to the touch too!

I used the concealer with it and found it really brightened under my eyes, they look really big and wide right now and all my nasty little chin spots that I've got going on at the moment are nicely hidden away.

Absolutely no cakeyness or lines with any of it also which is amazing and no shineys either yay, I only put moisturiser on underneath the foundation and a little MSF natural over the top to finish. I really don't feel like I'm wearing makeup, it's weird I didn't expect it to be so light. I've been wearing my makeup since about 7am and it's almost 3pm now and I'd say my face still looks as fresh as it did at 7am. I'm really impressed with this range. I can't wait to finish my bottle of Mineralize Satinfinish so I can buy a full size tube of the Studio Sculpt. Infact I reckon I'll cave and go and get one before then ha ha.

I was colour matched today, I'm normally NC25 in most of the products, but the MA insisted that the NC20 would work better. She tried both and liked the NC20. She also said these seem to darken up a little once on. I'll have to try it on all over and see I guess. I see her point, if it's a touch too dark, MAC's NC range has a tendency to look really yellow. It is the only thing about MAC foundations that has always bothered me. The EL fndt I currently use has more of an olive tone to it than yellow.

Isn't this stuff wonderful? Its my HG foundation now. When I went to purchase it, I had it on from the sample they had given me and I hadn't touched it up all day. Several MA's gathered around to look and they were impressed as well. They were practicing putting it on another MA at the time. I purchased the 191 with it and they advised to stripple it on instead of dragging. Of course however I put it on I love it.

The foundation held up REALLY well on my extremely oily skin. I am very impressed. So lightweight and great coverage! The concealer is great but I'm not too sure about the staying power..seemed to fade after a couple of hours. But then again, no concealers stay on for me :/
LOVE the natural finish though!

Ok this may sound weird but here is an other thing that foundation do:
You know when sometimes your foundation really just emphasis some facial hairs?
Well this one doesn't, it really makes them blend in the skin color.

**Did I already say that I LOVE that foundation?**

OMG.....I am still waiting for mine to arrive. I finally found some, but the wait is killing me. For some masochistic reason, I keep coming back to this thread to read your raves.

I wore this foundation for the first time today and I am over the moon about it. I was matched as an NW15 (which is what I normally am) and it is a prefect fit. The foundation glides on easily and covers all my acne scars, redness, and discoloration really well. Better than any MAC foundation I have ever tried. I also used smashbox photofinish primer and the 109 to buff the foundation on.

I have combination skin and get really oily in the chin area. So far I have only had to blot once. I am just hoping that this doesn't break me out.

I have a feeling that this is going to be my HG foundation!

I was matched as a nc15, my normal shade. I got a sample, I'm going to go buy it now. It's not too sheer or too thick, the perfect texture. I also got the concealer, it goes on quite smoothly, I agree with Mizuki, but nothing lasts under my eyes!
