okay ive let it sit for a hot minute and it looks GREAT.. it did oxidize a BIT darker so im really happy with it.. it seriously gives me that summer "glow" Ive been craving. I think that my fancy ray creme blush is a BIT too much "creme" on my face lol.. so Im pry just going to swipe some of my bronzer on my cheeks to give me a glow.

I really <3 this foundation.... I hope it doesnt break me out like it has a lot of people.... I dont know what it looks like without the strobe creme though as this is the first time Ive put it on.

do you guys think I could just put the strobe creme on and then the foundation? Or should I always mix it???

I'm pretty sure that when my MA did my makeup he put the strobe creme on first and then applied the SSF.

Missy when I had my MAC makeover, the MUA put the strobe cream on my face first, and then the foundation..I have also mixed the strobe cream and foundation together to make the foundation lighter...give both a try to see what works best for you.... but you can use the strobe cream just like a face primer..

Glad you like the foundation, I looovvvee it <3 <3 <3

Ugh! I am having the hardest time deciding if I want to take this foundation back or not. I love the way it feels and looks when it is on but my skin literally hates it. I have taken a little under a week break from this foundation and my skin is back to normal. I am at a loss as my skin looks flawless with this on but once it is taken off I can't even believe the havoc it has caused my skin. I know that I shouldn't keep this as it is just not the right fit. Sorry to ramble but I just wanted to vent a bit. I so wanted this to be my HG foundation but sadly I am back on the HG foundation hunt.

^^Lol coatchkitten, this is where you have to have a long serious talk in the mirror with your face and tell it who's boss..lol..

sounds like someone's "face" is tryin to wear the pants in the relationship...you need to tell ya "face" that you are applying top of the line MAC SSF foundation...thats prime time shit! lol...

maybe give "face" a lil smack...haha..and remind "face" about all the faces in the world that dont get foundation..lol...that will put "face" in line..lol...

Oh man.., I am a loser...hahaha..

That's why I returned it. Broke out worse than I've ever been within days, but kept using for about a week, and took about a week to return to somewhat normal (now it's completely normal again and I'm at the point of my cycle where if I was going to break out, then I would).

I wouldn't even consider keeping it if that's what it did to my skin...actually it did irritate mine and I did take it back. No foundation is worth that.

this is me wearing the SSF in NC 35... i didnt mix it with strobe creme today.. .and used MAC bronzer as a soft blush... it was taken with my blackberry so its not the BEST quality but you can see how dewy it is especially on my cheeks... its gorgeous.. im officially in love.. and as of today, no break outs

^^ Beautiful, Melissa! I wish it looked that hot on me! I think the fact that you have clear skin is a plus too, b/c I ugly pores and stuff and so it actually looks like it accentuates them for me.

is this stuff any good for oily skin? I have very dry skin on my cheeks, but my t zone gets really oily towards the end of the day. will this work for me? I reeeeeeeeally want to try it out, but it's a long way for me to go to return it if it doesnt work out

I have pretty oli t-zone and largeish pores on my nose too and this foundation looks gorgeous on my cheeks that have dryish normal skin but total crap ater few hours on my nose, chin and forehead. I would not recomend this to anyone that has oily skin or t-zone. But if you want to try it out get a sample.

This tube is going to last me years and years. You need so little to get so much coverage. I'll never finish it!

Ok update!!!!!

I LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LOVE it! No breakouts so far.

woo whooo!

Today, I used Strobe Cream with my 187, then applied S.S. on top. Finished it off with my MSF Loose with my 109 brush. Gosh did it look flawless.

I think the only thing I kinda don't like about it, is that it's still a bit shiny after a couple of hours. I use my blot powder to cover it up.

Any other ladies/gents with suggestions on how to stop the shininess?

One more question! For those who bought the 195, how do you like it compared to the 194? Would you recommend it as a must have or not?

I'm so excited I found my Macys gift card! Now I can try out the concealer.

I took back the foundation today and I felt bad as I was walking up to the counter because I NEVER return anything to MAC. I will usually find a way to make it work or sell it here. I just couldn't justify keeping the foundation if it didn't agree with my skin.

I went to Sephora and got a few samples of MUFE face & body and HD. I am going to see how I like it.

Even though I know that this thread is about Studio Sculpt I just wanted to tell everyone that I purchased the Maybeline Dream Mousse Liquid and I really like it. I normally don't do drugstore foundation but it looked really promising. I have a pretty oily t-zone and this stuff latest all day (w/o blotting) and looks flawless. It looks just like your skin and doesn't even look like you are wearing makeup. So if anyone is looking for a cheap foundation that feels like an expensive one try this out.

I prime my oily areas with MAC's Matte. It works really well, *and* it fills in my pores

.... I looooove this stuff so much! Last night I went to one of our local TV stations to do some filming for my college cable channel show... and im pretty good friends with the meterologist... and he was like "Dickson I havent seen you in like.. 3 weeks.. you look GREAT" and I was like "gee thanks Ric...... Ive been tanning." and he goes "no you look... airbrushed. Is that weird for a guy to say? You look like summer." I was cracking up... then Brent (some of you might remember brent lol) ...a "friend" who works there in editing came up and was like "I read on facebook that you switched foundation."

... that was all he said but at least he noticed something about me switchng foundation... and Ric is hilarous because he actully WEARS MAC... He wears SF Powder in NW30 when he's on-air...so he thinks he some big MAC foundation expert... I told him he couldnt do the Studio Sculpt on-air though because of how dewy it is.. it'd make him look shiny on camera...

But I couldnt wait to get back and tel you girls my experience haha.. I just love how two GUYS noticed a difference

I do the same, put the strobe cream before using this foundation. this foundation def gives that J-lo glow we always ask for. I would def use a little of set powder afterwards just becuz i believe if you leave glowy imagine what hot mess u gonna be when u sweat a little. so the set powder will matte it down a bit but better matte then sweaty.
