Wow, that is picky!!! The condiments though... are you just not into saucey textures? That picture is not doing it justice. LOL But I'm a picky eater. If it doesn't look right, or the texture is off, I can't eat it. I still don't eat ketchup, mustard, relish and etc... I won't eat a banana if it is too yellow It has to be hard and firm.
However, I do want to try this since you all love it.
I agree! This promo pic is just stunning. I hope Mac delivers on the colours and product performance.Gorgeous
Well Nostrand is the mecca of all that. Love macaroni pie! I think I'll make stew chicken, rice, lentils or pigeon peas and macaroni pie this Sunday!![]()
My stomach is growling now. I should try to make it, but I know it won't be as good, especially without the hot pepper. Lol, I tried to make my own halal cart style chicken over rice recently-made my own white sauce, hot sauce and everything. It was good but it was...not the same. Looks up fares to NYC.Love Love Love macaroni pie!!!
Yep... If read anymore about doubles, I'm gonna take a trip to Shoreditch High Street or Camden for a bit of proper street foodMy stomach is growling now. The promo pic is gorgeous and the packaging is pretty, but it looks like it might be a little too pricey for me and none of the products themselves really jump out at me.
Thank you, here it isThere's a video too floating around IG...if I find it again I'll tag you in it
Oh that's just beautiiful! Love it! :bigheart:

There's loads in South London, not many in my area itself. Now, I fancy cooking ackee and saltfish in the next few daysStreet meat! Had it earlier this week! I made Chipotle chicken fajita bowls once at home, special red sauce from scratch and marinated the chicken for 24hrs, the whole deal. It was good, but not the same either, lol. September where? It can be hard to get an attractive pic lol But when it's hot, and the sauce and pepper are tasty, yummy Had my "two slight" this morning lolThat picture is not doing it justice. The one in the pic with Rihanna's dress is how it is before it's folded up. You are a trip but I'm with you re bananas - I hate them unless they're firm. No squishiness for me! I also cannot eat my food if I can see the onion pieces - I have to pick them out lol. That picture is not doing it justice. LOL But I'm a picky eater. LOL, I am. THe condiments, I don't know. I can eat ketchup now with hot sauce, but I just never liked them. My mom said she throw up while pregnant when she had a burger with everything. When I was like 4 my Aunt took me to MCD and got me a burger with everything and I threw it on the floor. I detest mayonaise (however you spell it) I think I have an issue with soft, mushy like textures. Like, I love guacomole, but have to tell myself I like avocado. I hate a pile of sour cream on nachos and etc... but will eat it a little at a time. I used to never touch the stuff. But mayonnaise has always looked/ been gross. But I do love, love stews. Hard to eat if I didn't make it or know who made it. Sometimes I need to know what's in it, other times, I just dive right in. Ackee and saltfish? Two slight? Tell me about this macaroni pie. (I swear I'm not usually this dense about other cultures LOL)
I don't think it's dense at all! "Two slight" refers to a doubles order: two doubles with slight pepper. We make that macaroni pie plain (macaroni, cheese, evaporated milk, sometimes eggs, if you want any herbs, seasonings like salt and black pepper etc, mayonnaise) or with minced beef, or grated carrots, sweet peppers, etc It's great with a little stew sauce over it lolJust looked up macaroni pie, it looks like how my family does mac n cheese. That is something else I can't eat outside of my family. I hate how other ppl make it.
I wont eat bananas if they have spots. Nope! I have texture issues with oatmeal. I wont even eat oatmeal raisin cookies. The one in the pic with Rihanna's dress is how it is before it's folded up. I love my macaroni pie with a bit of oxtail gravy. There is a place not to far from me that lets you order it that way. Man they see me coming and start plating it.It's great with a little stew sauce over it lol
