I adore Blooming Lovely

And I agree with you on the LOL collection....stunning!

I am glad that I bought BUs of several things back then because I have already finished a few.

I'm hoping and praying that MAC brings back Blooming Lovely. You were smart to buy BUs from the LOL collection. I don't know what I was thinking not doing the same. I have bought more than a dozen lippies trying to find a good dupe of BL with no success. :/ NARS Dominique is a sister color but not a dupe. I only have a tiny bit left of it, and I'm saving it along with my teeny tiny remaining bullet of Deliciously Rich - my 2 fave MAC lippies.

I'm curious to see the pricing on this collection. After seeing the packaging on the compacts, I know it's going to be pricier than I expected.

I will buy a lipstick and a compact if it's Proenza prices, if it's Prabal prices I will skip.

Proenza was a designer collaboration, Prabal was a couture collection, hence the price difference.

Most likely, Guo Pei will be Prabal prices. Actually, Prabal prices + a dollar or two more given the regular price increase every year.

I am hoping that the color and quality is as good as how the packaging looks. I loved the look of Prabal Gurung last year but I could not justify the high price with the packaging that felt like $1 Store plastic containers.

I'm pretty sure Prabal items turned up at CCOs so most likely these will too. It's all about the lipstick for me, from that blurry pic the first one looks like CT Very Victoria, obv ICBW

This Guo Pei packaging is exquisite. I'll have to buy at least one lipstick and compact for my collection.

It's funny- at the time while being completely besotted with Blooming Lovely as a color that I thought so unique- I just never thought it would become my go-to everyday lippie

! So while appearing the ever generous Mom and Bestest-Aunt-in-the-Univierse for having gifted the gals in the family with one each- I promptly issued a 'TOTAL RECALL'

-as I began to eye my dwindling BU's like Cersei Lannister (Game of Thrones) eyeing her last two children's ascension to the throne !!! (wicked wink)
As much as I love my Lavender Jade's- Blooming Lovely was the lippie that got me started on the whole soft greyed lavender as an everyday look. It was pure lavender sophistication

Completely agree with this. This collection will be Prabal pricing or higher. The packaging is very unique, ornate and look so far very well made.
Cant wait for full swatches/descriptions of all the items!
