MAC is actually fabulous for returns. I've never had an issue. It's like taking something back to Sephora or Nordstrom. They don't even bat an eye.

Um....the collection is already up on ebay -$60 for a lipstick, $140 for an eyeshadow quad, $70 for a blush, $100 for a beauty powder, and the real bargain $399 for a set of 5 piece set of lipsticks and blushes. And people are watching the bidsI think this is true for a lot of people, but what I also think is that there are very few swatches of these products. Many people agree that things pull strangely on T, so hers are hard to use, especially for such a pricey product. And Karen is also pretty medium/medium dark and warm, so super pale ladies and WOC can't entirely judge from her either. I think once more pics start coming out (like ours) more people will jump on them. Also, ebay sellers want high profit margins...easy to get 100%-200% profit on a $17 lipstick...not so much with a $30. The ladies who buy MAC will probably not shell out $60-$90, and from comments here and elsewhere, many are not sure at MSRP. Just my

Probably other sellers trying to gauge market and people who are in countries that will not receive the products/cannot get things shipped to them via MAC. ETA-Not that people who can't get stuff are sad or that their situation is hilarious...more of just the unfettered greed of most ebay sellers. They suck (if you are lurking and/or one of these people...yes, you suck...upping cost to cover fees and make make minimal profit is one thing...gouging quite another!).

Really?? Why did i think if you bought something on mac online it couldn't be returned to a store, only back through mail? That is really good to know.

Shocked that I actually got the email BEFORE everything is sold out....guess the price point has ppl skipping.....bc its not like mac would have decent stock of a collection, right???? Lol only picked up red water blush for packaging

Maybe it's because I never specify. I just waltz in there and tell them I have a return. They've NEVER asked me if I purchased online. They take my card... take my pro card... and toss the item in a bin next to the counter. That's pretty much it.

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm thinking of getting one or both of the blushes but I don't know if I feel like shelling out $40 for $21 worth of product (if that) and pretty packaging when the likes of Nars, Chanel and Guerlain's holiday collections are looming lol.

Not personally, but she was one of the only ones actually up stalking (I tried and gave up), so I'd feel terrible if she ended up missing what she wanted.

It might. Do you go to stand-alones or counters? I can see them acting wonky at a counter. But I've never had an issue at a stand-alone.

OK well I caved and ordered the Morning Light quad and Zenith l/s. I have Amber Lights already, but to be fair, I wear it at least once a week and I'm on my 3rd pan of it.
I'm getting my new car tomorrow, so I guess this is a "Happy New Car' present to myself? Cuz it's definitely good to spend more money when you are getting a new car too, right?
