For WOC wanting to see OC on a darker skin tone (NC50); I'm in a car shop, so the lighting by no means, is good. Also, I'm not a selfie or picture taker AT ALL so excuse my hands being all up in the view, lol.

It looks pretty faded in these pictures, but it's not. Pigmentation is good. I actually overdid it and had to wipe some off, lol. I also really like being able to control the nuance or shade of the blush depending on how I mix the ombre gradient. I'm satisfied. :)

Man, I couldn't take a good selfie if my life depended on it. There is a secrecy about it and cult-like instructions I have not been told about it yet. Your selfie gets two thumbs up, you look gorgeous!

I forgot to say that my Woodrose broke off while applying it yesterday.. I see ForeverJenn noticed some wiggling with hers. I went to apply and it just fell off...lol. Funny but not funny..
My WR is wiggley too. Pink Fringe had a nick/slice into it. My first Mangrove & BU are just fine.

That's awesome, glad it worked out for you!!!  looks awesome on you!!  Mine had the correct label and the invoice had the correct name of the one I ordered.   Mine too but vice versa.  Better lighting (window light, no flash)
so pretty. Mangrove looks amazing on you. I love that color.

Wow, that sucks. That should not happen at this price point. My Woodrose is fine.

HOW can a big company like MAC screw up this bad? First the delay, then sending customers the wrong product, and to top it all off there seem to be quality issues with the blushes AND lipsticks. It seems like the overall quality is going downhill while they churn out more and more collections. I'd rather see just one collection every two months, but a well planned one where the quality is on point.

My skin has some blemishes right now, but oh well! Here's Woodrose. I really like it!
Also, I have on Ocean City in these photos.

Mangrove - The camera makes it really neon looking!

ETA: So, I am absolutely in LOVE with Ocean City. It's PERFECT! I find it to be more pigmented than Sunset Beach. I haven't tried Sunset Beach on yet, but it is pretty. Not SUPER pigmented at first swipe, but it's buildable (did I spell that right? I think I'm having a brain fart after a long day) The color is pretty and I imagine I will love it on!

Both colors look awesome on you. The blush looks equally as great!

Here are some lip swatches. I believe these will look better in sunlight. Very smooth application. Mangrove,Pinkfringe and Woodrose.
Sofa King pretty!!

I am sorry this happened to you too. It does blow :(

They shouldn't have rushed it. If they had taken their time and pushed it back until May, maybe things wouldn't be so bad.

Damn, Temptalia just gave OC an F. I think that's a bit extremee
She uses a point system for all her reviews, so its not an arbitrary grade. It most have scored low on important categories.

This collection has been a fail all around for me, i only like Mangrove, which isn't all that unique either.

It's becoming more and more apparent that MAC can't even keep up with itself and is tripping up more and more frequently.
But the earnings must be worth it so it will continue to be collection after collection with hits and misses and casualties!

So we have another packed collection month coming up soon....Fun times ahead :D

This there's is moving so fast I can't be positive this hasn't been mentioned before. Has anyone who purchased either of the blushes from anyone else besides MAC receive shipment notification? My order is getting split up and everything is getting shipped out today except my lonely little OC.

I just read through 500+ posts. I knew it couldn't all be good news and praises. Now I'm at home waiting for my little black box and I realize that I'm going to have to reside myself to receiving Sunset Beach. Tomorrow I'm going to have to get up early and drag my butt over to the store and make sure that I secure Ocean City before I call MAC to find out what they want to to. If SB is in my box and I get my hands on OC instore, then I cannot ship SB back to them fast enough to get a refund.

When I swatched the Sunset Beach that I received it hardly showed up and I had to really rub my fingers across it to get any color payoff. Late last night I decided to see how it applied and my brush picked up plenty of product. I almost ended up having too much blush on one side because I wasn't expecting it to show up so well.
Haha! That was my experience as well. I didn't even swatch it first but since I'm so fair (NW10 with white mixed in) I took a duo fiber brush and barely brushed it in the blush and got quite a pink cheek. So I thought "damn" this stuff is super pigmented, swatched it and got almost nothing. I was scratching my head like "herrrhhh".
