Someone broke into my apartment and stole about half of my makeup collection - lipsticks, lipglosses, brushes, blushes etc. I live in a gated apartment complex btw. The fuck?!! I dont wear makeup everyday, so I have no idea when this happened. Must be in the last week, because I went out with my bestie last weekend and everything was there.

My limited edition retromatte lippies - AFU, RR are gone. All my nude lipsticks and my Rihanna lippies (Nude, TT as well as Heaux) are gone (luckily I have backups of Heaux in the closet). The KYY and cranberry lip pencil from Osbournes that I JUST got and haven't even tried on are gone! Even my fucking false lashes!!

I am upset but also scared. Who is to say this bitch (I assume it's a woman) didnt try on all my lippies and lipglosses and left what she didnt want behind? Or that they won't come back?

I have to check the rest of my apt to see what else is missing. It must be someone living in this complex, who knows when I am not here.

My bf is livid, he is about to hurt somebody. He is worried about my safety, and so am I.

Thanks ladies! I found an drawing online and i fell in love with it, and the fact that i went with the concept of my others was even more amazing. I had him tweak it to fit me and add his own twist to it and it's perfect!

That's horrible! I'm very sorry for that crap, people can be such jackasses and have too much time on their hands. I don't know your living situation but I suggest an alarm system and a personal home camera. Awful as it is these days you have to take all of your security into your own hands, thieves rarely think to hide their faces while in your home and something like a nanny cam can help give you valuable evidence. Try not to touch anything. Alert your apartment manager and call the police, ask your fellow neighbors if they saw anything and take photos of how your house was left. It might help later and even when you clean up you'll have evidence of how the apartment was left. Again I'm so sorry, things like this are bullsht. I've been robbed by a person, had my car robbed but thankfully not my home. Still I'm very aware or steps you can take to protect yourself and am as paranoid as they come when it comes to personal security.

Sorry Girl!! This sucks !! material stuff can always be replaced. It could've been more tragic if you were home. Your safety is far more important than make up. I believe strongly in Karma that person will get theirs cause what comes around goes around .

I'm so sorry, what a terrible intrusion on your personal space Bajandoc. Stealing other people's makeup is just a new low, I remember seeing some girl (Shadesofkassie) on YouTube that said that her "friend" had stolen a whole bunch of her makeup so I'd also assume its someone you know. But I guess with a gate it may be some idiotic neighbour that knows the value of Mac LE's on eBay. Check out trading sites and see if your stuff suddenly comes up as for sale, I've tracked an idiot down like that that had stolen my bike. Be safe!!
