MAC x The Simpsons Collection (Sept 4, 2014)

I never expected too much from this collection but I love it! I'm buying doubles! Grand Pumpkin- I thought this would be coral and look bad on darker skin but it's perfect. I think that this is probably my favorite from the collection. It exceeded my expectations. Don't be afraid to try this if you have dark skin! Itchy and Scratchy Sexy Red Blazer- The first pic is the lipglass blotted for a stained look and the second and third are full opacity I also bought Nacho Cheese Explosion. It settled into lip lines but eventually evened out on my lips. I have to figure out how to mix it.

I was doing blue eyeshadow today and thought it'd be the perfect time to try my Sideshow You blush. I packed it on a bit much- due to too much adoration. Love it!! So happy I backed it up. And don't mind me on my bad brow day.

How does SY compare to final cut? I skipped out on it because I own Final cut and barely wear it lol but it is a beautiful blush

It sure will, I'm between nc42-nc44 and it shows up. These blushes are very sheer compared to others so you may just have to layer and build it.

I got my goodies a couple of days ago from my online order,but went into the store today to pick up the eyeshadow quads - I wanted to see them in person. I love them! They are so buttery and pigmented on me (I'm between NW 15 - NW 20 now that it's summer - in winter I go about NW 10) But I decided to try XSparkages look she did on YouTube with my stuff I'm obsessed with the Lip combo! - Nacho cheese Explosion mixed with Grand Pumpkin! Eyes are a mix of both quads Cheeks is pink sprinkles

Now I know I said I would be skipping this collection, and I have not purchased a thing. However that did not stop me from swatching this afternoon when I went to the mall and popped into MAC. This may be one of the best textures in a quad I have ever seen from MAC. It's close to UD in creaminess. I was honestly impressed. The pigmentation was amazing. If MAC continues to make quads of this quality in the future I won't pass them up without consideration any more. I swatched both of the quads and I have to make sure that everyone knows how creamy and pigmented they are.

Do you think that Pink Sprinkles would show up on an NC42? I swatched it in store and I couldn't get enough color to really see it (maybe the tester was faulty?).

It will work. Btw, best to try the color on your face. I've noticed that swatching on my hand with a finger doesn't pickup enough color but when I try the color on my face, it's much better.

I'm NC42 and got pink sprinkles.. I have to build up for it to show.. but it is quite a pretty flush of color.. not overly pink on me
