Oh and I think L'Oreal and Rimmel also make really good lipsticks, very decent for the drugstore variety. I just picked up a Rimmel lippy recently and been wearing it daily. Rimmel also has some good lip pencils.

L'Oreal and Max Factor make good mascaras, imo.

Drugstore brands:

NYX- very very good eyeshadow & Big pencils
Milani-very good eyeshadow can be depotted & fit into mac palettes
Jane- very good blush
Revlon-super lustrous lipgloss love the texture
Mark(avon)- liquidliner love this stuff

Just a heads up - from what I know Nars is not cruelty free. They are owned by Shiseido who tests. Loreal also test on animals.

I rec NYX, I also really like Taylor Made Minerals and Fyrinnae (they are online) for loose eyeshadow.

While these aren't drugstore brands, my favorites are Make Up For Ever (try the Star Powders, they're fabulous), NARS (lipsticks, shadows, blush, foundation) and Giorgio Armani, their range of foundation is absolutely incredibly and their eyeliner pencils are safe for waterline and have great staying power.
