yes...Stage makeup is usually thicker foundations like Full Coverage and more color to hightlight and shadow so that the audience 10 ft away can see your makeup.
With TV makeup you have to be careful because the camera might do a close up so you must use a thinner foundation like Face and Body so it doesnt look like your wearing "cakey" makeup. A lot of tv makeup is done with air brushing...to give more of a flawless look b/c the camera could show every single detail. Also be sure to have some blot powder if u have oily skin b4 your performance.
