Updated Fake Product List

I have not bought any eyeshadows off of ebay because of all the negativity and dishonesty with these sellers and their products. However, I've purchase in time past from seller here on Specktra and another Forum who has sold me fake eyeshadows that has the thicker pans without knowledge of FAKES being sold and besides I had just gotten into buying from other when missing sales and had no knowledge that I could get a refund after finding out the were not authentic. But, now I have become more aware and somewhat learned in detecting or suspecting fakes and if I don't know I'll seek out help. Therefore, I've had it with seller selling to buyer knowingly that these products are not authentic.
But, I would like to know if there is any fakes for MUA. It's sad you have to be on the defense with other seller when seeking deals. Please Help.

I haven't bought from this particular seller, but I think I do own a high quality fake Bio Green. It doesn't have a batch code stamp on the sticker on the bottom, and no finish description. I can imagine that the authentic version does mention the finish for this eyeshadow? Then you could easily expose the seller if you ask them to tell you what's on the sticker of the pot they're selling.

I haven't seen fake Smolders before. Are they counterfeiting kohls properly now too?

Looks like jamesbiffa7 actually managed to con 2 people with his job lot of 'MAC'. He's received positive feedback for a second job lot sold the same day for £60, which must have been a 'second chance offer' as there certainly wasn't a second listing running at the time, and this one didn't have any bids. Still no feedback as yet from the purchaser of the first 'lot' at £67 though

I actually reported his listing a couple of days ago. I think bidding at the time was £56, and it's now at £62 and ebay haven't removed it

It only has a couple of hours to go now, so someone is going to be 'had'

Edit: The listing has now ended at £67

So annoying that we can't now see the winner's name until they leave feeback. It was a snipe bid, too, so they probably think they've got a bargain!

Sorry for the late post, but I can tell you how I know it's fake. (I sell cosmetics so I have to watch out for this.) By looking at the lids, those are the "eye/lip pencil"..MAC doesn't make a eye/lip pencil LOL. They also say there is Vitamin E in them somewhere on the pencil which I don't remember ever seeing. I'm pretty good at spotting fakes if anyone needs help, I've researched it quite a bit.

Another thing I notice is MAC puts their color sticker to the top right on the pigment boxes. That's usually the quickest giveaway on pigments.

They tend to get that right these days. Some fakes are getting so hard to spot that it's the smaller, less obvious things you have to look out for - it's all in the detail. Others are easy to spot, such as those with eyeshadow names instead of pigment names, and those with numbers instead of names. Have a peruse of some of the threads here - you'll be amazed how good the fakes are getting

Yeah, when I first started selling, I bought a lot...for $1064. Thank God the seller canceled the transaction before it was fulfilled. It was hideously fake. Now I don't stray from the trusted suppliers.
