Well, if you insist!!!

I'm sitting here looking beautifully green with my algenist algae brightening mask on, but I'll likely end up there later. I think my SA lady should be in. I'll have to call first! I get in so much trouble when I am down home on breaks. Mostly because we don't have all the lovely makeup counters there. So I always end up over indulging to make up for the lack of in-store shopping I get at school.

The bronzers will only be offered in the white cases. So if you want the brown, chop-chop. The Cerise lipstick will be released for a "future collection". Got this straight from the TF Goddess. Remember, it is common that TF will release something in Asia, long before we see it in the States. Hence, Cerise might be floating in the Far East about now.....

Thanks for all of your reconnaissance missions to bring us news & views.
First and foremost, Meddy, I am so sorry you had to endure what you did. My brother teases our Dad he got a full flush, since he went through 10 pints of whole blood and countless bags of plasma. They first only got 6 pints of blood, then when they ran out, his other blood had to come from the far south suburbs of Chicago out to the the far NW suburb. Yes, the paramedics or some type of emergency team brought it with sirens going. As my brother kept telling me, if you have to die, this is the way to go. You are out of it, and no clue (hopefully) what was going on. The anemia my Dad has only 1 in 300,000 people get it. Plus it is usually women who are pregnant with a child who has a different Rh factor. Leave to my Dad to get a chic blood disorder.....

My Dad is a 4th Degree Knight with the Knight's of Columbus. He has agreed to be the spokesperson for the blood drives. My Mom, me and my sister are Rh negative. So as I much as I hate needles, someone out there or several people literally saved my Dad's life through their kindness.

Now on to the fun stuff. I was always taught go to the source, and get the straight info. I actually tried to blend the Chanel cream sticks this morning not using my concealer brush. That was useless. They would not budge. But truly with the synthetic concealer brush, they blend like soft butter. No clue why, will leave that to my brother the scientist to figure out.

Love them
Thank you BC. I think it was more frightening for my family and friends who watched the ordeal. I'm so grateful for my husband who never left my side---we were only
married for two years at that point. My surgeon wrote an order on my cart that my dog was allowed to visit me, so hubs would pick her up from our Vet where she was
boarded and bring her to the hospital in a tote bag! That was pretty funny.

I'm glad you survived your ordeal as well. Having gone through something so traumatic gives you a different perspective on life. I'm so grateful for my life.....and
makeup

My Dad would agree with you. It was my Mom who had the most to deal with. When the medical team asked her to pick the way he should die, no surgery, for sure death. Surgery, he would bleed out. My brother being the oldest, and never having seen my Mom not in control, since she was an ER nurse in a level 1 hospital. Not much rattles her. You do find the simple pleasures in life and screw the bullshit and nasty people. My Mom said, your true friends when something like this happens rise to the top like cream. The assholes sink below pond scum.

I hope changing the topic doesn't make me seem insensitive, but I'm still quite raw having buried my father about 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I haven't even had time to process it for myself and the grief hits me in little dribbles. When I crack, it'll be awful. I beg everyone's indulgence.

This was one of those days when I thank goodness for TF. 3am is an awful wakeup time.

I'm glad everyone is doing better!!!

Of the Chanel Stylo E/Ss that I purchased, I've only worn Olivine. I was able to apply it as a main lid color, very lightly, sheering as I went along, directly from the stick.
I will definitely use your approach w/a concealer brush as I attempt additional looks with them.

starletta, that is a huge loss and I am not sure anyone really gets over a parent's death (if they had a close relationship). You have my total empathy so yeah go ahead and change the topic.

Funny thing though, my mom LOVED & so enjoyed my funny/crazy/bold personality so she would not want me sad at all.

I'm waiting for hubs to finish up loading everything onto my new laptop. I'm sorry I've missed responding to some of your posts :)

Oh honey, it's hard not to be sad---what a tremendous, tremendous loss. Beneath that "funny/crazy/bold personality" is a huge heart---and it's broken right now.
Go with your feelings---it's healthier that way, and as cliché as it may be, it does get better---but in your time, and in your way.....oodles of hugs to you.
