Sorry if this has been asked before, but what shadows are you pairing with Dangerous Cuvee?

I've used it as a highlight with She Who Dares, which was lovely. Also as a base for Mauvement, which seemed sort of besides the point. Mostly I just have worn it on its own with some cat's eye liner.

I used it with Universal pigment and I would also try it with any other highlight/soft neutral like Your Ladyship, Shroom, Vanilla, etc. I used it on the inner lik and smoke out the outer lid. HTH!

I wore it today paired with Winter Wheat, an LE from years ago (kind of looks like the White Gold pigment). I did a black cat's eye type liner with it and bright red lips (Tomorrow's Coral lip stain marker + Cult of Cherry l/g). I liked DC for this look, because I could make it a little darker on the outside, but sheer it out towards the middle, where it was blended with the Winter Wheat. I will say that I got a little bit of glitter creep onto my face, but it was very little and it actually looked kind of cute.

Finally picked up a few things from this collection:

All 4 lipgelees (I'm a total sucker for anything sparkley. I also got the last Bubble Lounge at the store, woo!)
I Get No Kick eye khol

I was really tempted to get both of the highlight powders but I already have Nars Albatross and By Candlelight, plus they're a little pricey.

Hope everyone is enjoying their goodies from this collection.

Ee, checked out the collection today and I got IGNK eye kohl! :) I wanted Calm Mode lip conditioner too, but the Mac i went to didn't bring that in (which was weird, but oh well). I'm still deciding if I should get Soiree though! I swatched it at the store, came home and compared it to Orly's Rage and they are similar at first glance... but if you scrutinise it properly, Soiree is more bronze and stands out better on my skin tone! Ah, decisions decisions!

I still gotta decide whether or not I want Calm Mode! Eep.

as much a i love chez chez lame highlight powder i found that it faded quite quickly on me today. after about 3 hours i couldnt see it anymore :( and seeing as i never have time to touch up my make up during the working day this isnt ideal :( maybe i should use pearl as a base and add the powder on top to make it last longer.

I wonder what's up - it lasts on me all day applied over bare skin. (I moisturize like a maniac beforehand though - plus wait a while after moisturizing before applying.)

it's always heartwarming to get some recog for work done. How do you moisturize like a maniac.. and what do you use? I don't have any problems with recc the PIP tho... that is a sweet powder.. these, I had major issues with..

I haven't had any issues with Chez Chez Lame either. I'm actually really happy with this highlighter. I just do my regular makeup routine (an oily-reducing moisturizer, concealer, Studio Fix Fluid foundation, creme bronzer and blot powder- wow that seems like a lot when i type it out) and I let everything dry completely between stages (which isn't any time at all if you use very thin layers) and then apply my blush and then finally I pat on CCL on top and blend a little with my fingers. I'm using a patting technique with everything in this collection.

I had this issued as well with my Rose Ole. I was so excited because I could actually use this as a blush, but it seemed to need reapplying, which I just don't have the time or desire to do.
I am on the oily side, so that is part of it I'm sure, but still. Oddly, I didn't have this problem with Play it Proper from Stylishly Yours, so maybe it is this new "Special Reserve" formula.

I use a Clairsonic with the amazing Rodial active cleanser, then the even more amazing Rodial serum + the extra stupendously amazing Rodial glamoxy serum in the danger zones. Let all that sink in then back to my Clarins (currently the eye cream from the hydrating line and the day cream from the old lady extra power line). I've been a faithful Clarins user for over 10 years now, but when everything's used up I'm probably going to spring for moisturizers from Rodial, because that brand seems to have tapped into some sort of high tech fountain of youth. Super retardedly expensive, but while I can be a little cheap with cosmetics, I'm willing to spend whatever to maintain beautiful skin for as long as I can before it all crumples in a dusty pile.

I skipped the beauty powders since Truth & Light MCP is perfect for me - and I have plenty of Oh So Fair, for my retro 40's glam needs. Chez Chez Lame I did go for, though, because I wanted something that had an extra slick, shiny wet look to it (I use it dry, but more often with Fix+ for that extreme look I was craving) then have stuck around with it because I'm liking the neutral white highlight it has.

Lastly, I'm always good for some compliments to you, because it's very obvious you are a smart, sophisticated cookie who knows how to work it, whatever you choose "it" to be. So what's not to compliment, nu?
