I was a bit underwhelmed by the event at my store tonight. It was VERY crowded and near impossible to simply swatch the products as at both SS displays an MA was stationed to apply colors to customers and weren't happy about people taking items off the display to look. I did manage to sneak Dark Diversion off the display and swatch it (not impressed) and I had On the Hunt applied to my eyes (which I rather liked). When I tried to purchase On the Hunt, Marche Aux Puces, and Lady Danger, I was told that all three were sold out!
I'll try to order online when this goes up but I'm not feeling super anxious about it—if I get them great, if not, oh well. I WILL get Lady Danger though! (Hooray perm items!)

I love DD fluidline. I use it instead of brown liners. Gives more oomph to my brown eyes for my natural looks.

Wow! I've never heard of sellouts at a party before. I agree the store events are way too crowded.

OK, so I went to the event tonight. It was really crowded, but I managed to swatch everything. The lighting was horrible. It made everything look yellow. I tried to take pics when I got home, but they're not much better.
I bought Local Wares, a BU of Dark Diversion since I already have one from Mac Me Over, and Dipdown since it's been on my to-buy list forever. I also threw in Rich Ground for the same reason, but I accidentally bought two and will be returning one. Local Wares isn't an obvious green. It's a very dark brown green.
I thought I bought Restless lipglass. I was given C-Thru instead and I will be returning it ASAP. I didn't notice it until I got home. I was devastated. Restless is gorgeous, and I'm going to buy it when it launches online and a BU. I didn't get Eclectic Edge Edge or Ready to Roam because I thought they were similar to other colors. I was wrong. Caqui is more coral than Eclectic Edge and lacks shimmer. Rivera Life is a brighter orange than Eclectic Edge. Eclectic Edge is a darker, more burnt orange. Nitrolicious and Send Me Sailing don't have Ready to Roam's shimmer. It's close to Cult of Cherry, but Ready to Roam is a richer red.
I swatched the eye shadow duos. I passed on them, but I wasn't planning to get them anyway. If I were to get one, it would be On the Hunt. I also passed on the mattenes for now. I like the colors of Fashion Nomad and Eden Rough, but didn't feel excited enough to get them. I feel like I already have those colors. I don't have anything like Camden Chic. It seemed to be the most unique of the mattenes to me. If I do decide to get a mattene, it will be Camden Chic.
I also swatched Styleseeker nail polish. It's really pretty, but I wouldn't say it's a duochrome polish. It seems more like a bonzey metallic orange to me. It applied streaky on the 1st coat. I didn't intend to do a 2nd coat, but I smudged the first coat and had to do it over.
I took a look at Cremesheen+Pearl while I was there. I was surprised by how much they swatch like lustres. Again, it was too crowded so I only looked at Pure Zen, Pink Pearl Drop, Saigon Summer and Sunny Seoul. I know these are permanent, but I feel like I need them now. Oh, and I got my tube of Prep+Prime Lip. I like the blue shimmer in the packaging.

Stuff was flying off the shelves at the Hey Sailor event I went to. I recall Red Racer and Sail La Vie selling out. I think Feeling Fresh and other eye shadows did too and probably Crew. I was lucky getting my Red Racer because the girl after me got the last one. I'm not sure if anything sold out at this one, but I left before it ended.

One recent example of name recycling that I can think of is "Heroine". They used it last year w/ the Wonder Woman collection and this year w/ Reel Sexy.
