Chanel Spring 2013 makeup collection

I must have the highlighter. It will be a giant splurge for me, and I won't be able to order it for a few weeks, but it is so, so beautiful. I really need to start buying more Chanel! I'm not sure this will fit with my Fall plans (I'm finally going back to school for the degree I want), but the packaging and colors are amazing.

I just got the e/s duo, the blush and the gloss in no 70 from the spring collection... I really like everything I got! The highlighter was sold out in the store I went to, but I might try to locate it elsewhere. Same for the lipstick in La Favorite, I really wanted to try it but it they were out. Can't wait to start playing with my new goodies!

It's a shame Chanel has hiked up their nail polish prices so much. I remember back during the whole Black Satin craze, the polish was only $18. Anyone know a possible cheaper dupe for this?

Thanks! I don't have any dupes since I typically don't go for this type of color. I'm sure there are some out there though.

I bought Beryl a few weeks ago and I love it, I find the lasting power quite excellent on me (6 hours+). I've decided to purchase L'Eclatante after all, I can always wear it as a stain if full application is too much. Still on the fence with Emprise and Fracas.

Bis, fwiw I love the new volume mascara more than any other I've tried, including any of the Lancome ones (which I like).

Can't wait to try the mascara. I tried Lancome Hypnose recently (got a mini sample) and it irritates me a little, probably due to the strong scent and also lately my eyes are very dry.

My tax return made me a bad girl! I order L'Eclante and the highlighter today. I wanted a few more things, but I was trying to keep the amount low as I also picked up a Z Palette and a few things from Sephora today.

I keep forgetting to check this out while I'm at or near a counter. I've been meaning to since everyone on here began to give it great reviews. I think I'll just go ahead and order it. I use Clair right now. I like it but not love it. This is said to look a lot better. I'm ready to give it a go.

Me too. I'll have to try it that way. This is one of my favorite quads next to Kaska Biege, which is now discontinued.

I got my order today. L'Eclante is the most beautiful bright pink I've ever bought. It's a sophisticated bright pink, and looks gorgeous with a light blush and a neutral or gold eye. I really might back this one up! I've only been able to swatch the highlighter on my hand, but it is so, so beautiful! I'm very tempted to build a Chanel collection now, even if it's one piece at a time. The loose powder is on its way to me now.

Hi Bis, I cannot compare as I had a bad experience in the past with Lancome mascaras (we are just not a good match) so I did not try Hypnose (maybe I did when it was first released but it must be it did not impress me enough to remember-) Anyway, I would suggest to get a sample of Le Volume first before buying a full size - although I only saw good reviews, mascara is an individual thing.

I love Raffinement & Prelude, but I really want to get the Smokey Eye quad. I don't know why because the total quad is dupable. It just speaks to me some how. At any rate, it's on my list!

I fully agree, this color really took me by surprise. I normally don't go for matte formulas, but the shade was soooo poppy and springy and Rogelio's, I had to have it!

Hi, newbie here. Picked up Frivole blush yesterday afternoon and thought I'd contribute to the swatch party. NC40, Nars Barcelona, MUFE 153, Chanel Perfection Lumiere BA34.






It looked a lot more orange under the department store lights; it sits somewhere between pastel peach and salmon under natural and the kitchen's fluorescent lights. It's the most dreamy, creamy matte, though. I'll probably grab the highlighter and quad next.

I'm planning to buy it because of you. Thank you for your swatch!

Ladies! I saw the most beautiful bright pink lip colour on the Chanel Studio SAs and MA, and it is a combination of 2 RAV, L'Exuberante and L'Eclatante. The MA told me she applied L'Eclatante first, followed up L'Exuberante. It is just a gorgeous, neutral bright pink that I would think suit all skin tones. I felt that Eclatante is too yellow and Exuberante too fuchsia but together, they are perfect! The MA is amazing to think of this combination! Those who have the two lipsticks, try this and let me know if it works on you. I don't have both because I don't like the formula, but I just might have to get them!

It looks pretty nice on me but I'll need to try L'Exuberante by itself again to see if I really see that much of a difference on my lips. I can't really wear fuchsias in general but I feel like L'Exuberante is a relatively wearable one. Have you tried it on before? Here are some swatches on my arm. From left to right:
