I wonder if this is ideal for dry skin. The Pro Longwear line is usually a bit drying.
It depends on whether you have a lot of dry patches or not. I found it quite moisturizing, though not as gel-like as Studio Sculpt. Bu as the foundation is rather pigmented, it will certainly cling to dry/dead skin cells - like every other foundation that is on the heavier side. Having said that, a little goes a long way with this foundation.

Aside from my shade being too dark (though I've remedied on 2 occasions by mixing it with Cover FX's CCD & NC45 the other time), I hate to say that I REALLY like this foundation. It sets pretty quickly, leaves a demi-matte finish and during the two times I've tested it, appears to be VERY transfer-resistant, which I LOVE. Makeup transference is my biggest pet peeve, so I appreciate the fact that this hasn't done so during my test runs. I'm giving it a full, 9-10 hour run today in warm weather, so we'll see how it holds up.

I really like the foundation and powder as well. It wore pretty good for the 14 hour days I had this weekend. A little goes a long way and the 135 is pure love. I may need another one...LOL!

When we lived in North Carolina our girls would have swim meets. I remember many times standing out in the heat feeling the sweat drip out of my hair, down my neck, under my bra strap and down into my underwear. Yuck.

Dang, went to go get my sample of this and was told that don't give foundation samples any more "since like forever, now".....I had to plead to get the tiniest swatchable sample for the record, I know that's not true and not even from this particular counter (I've samples there before) but I just didn't have the time or energy to go to another counter lol annnddd they didn't have the powders yet on the plus side, these felt AMAZING and I sprayed a super concentrated blast of fix plus on my hand and it stayed completely put, even after I was rubbing the water around (like I would wipe my brow or something) but the color range seemed overall rather light, but the SA told me (after being told no samples) that they set the correct color they're supposed to be. When I fake tan tonight, imma test the NC35 "sample" I got bc that's my normal summer color tried and true and see I will report back!

Set your makeup with Ben Nye Neutral Set. It's a sweat retardant.

Ok Im wearing my tiny sample in NC35 and it seems to match fine, like the normal color I'm used to getting. I think I used too much though bc it looks a little heavy and my chin is transferring big time :/ but the coverage is full and feels lights and soft on the skin.... So I may just get it and just use less lol I'm bummed bc I was supposed to go to the gym tonight and sweat in it (ew) but hubby has to work late so I'm stuck with my kiddo lol

You only need the tiniest amount with this foundation (see my post above). I also recommend setting it with a different powder (not the PLW one). Use one or the other, otherwise it will too heavy - unless one is going for a drag queen look. HTH

Ok, so day two with less product and my normal translucent powder....5 hours of wear and not pleased :/ while the texture feels light and nice and now no transfer (with the less product) I don't like the coverage now and all my blemishes have popped thru and now I'm super shiny....no go for me, I can't seem to balance a happy medium

I picked up the powder today in Dark Deep. I dont wear foundation but I am NC50 in Prolongwear concealer and usually wear Dark in the winter and Dark Deep in the summer.I've had it on since lunchtime and I love it so far. Oh and btw that Timecheck lotion is everything! It feels like a moisturizer and primer in one .

I got a sample in Nc 50 color seemed fine no major oxidation. I wasn't in love with it either great coverage may pick it up and use solely as a concealer

I've tried it in nc50 and it is a great summertime foundation. The oxidation it's to bad and a little on me goes a long way. I find however unlike the regular prolong wear foundation......it has to be set with a powder or else. It doesn't melt off but does transfer just and FYI. The coverage was great too.:encore::eyelove::eyelove:

I tried out a sample and it looked amazing with MSFN over it. I used it as a concealer too but there was some creasing under my eyes. Washing it off though was a challenge I had to use avocado oil with my clarisonic and then my cleanser to get it off and even then there was still traces of it when I was applying my toner. Not an everyday foundation for me Im too scared it will break me out since its so hard to wash off.

I should have known, but tried it in stores anyway. I am very fair (probably N5-10). I have slight yellowish undertones, but at first the NW15 looked like it might be light enough. Nope, it turned crazy pink (and foundations nearly never oxidize on me). Oh, well. I'll skip, but wish MAC would extend its foundation shades.

I can tell this won't work on me then. That's a shame. My favorite MAC SA really had me looking forward to it. He was in love with it. Darn my red blotchy skin!

I received this foundation in the post today and it is horrible. It has a very thick, dry texture and is very hard to blend. It also felt very heavy and cakey. What a disappointment!
