Ladies,
you will all end up with all 8 of them! That is what happened to me, one after another, slowly these palettes took over my make-up desk!

So far I have Riviera and Vénitien, as they are perm there is no hurry but you're right we might end up with all 8 of them lol ( for many of us ! )
sigh.gif
I love them all, clearly those quads are classy !

Oh I'm sure I will and I can't wait for it to arrive---the bottom right really got me going---I love rich berry-brown shades like that. Do you find the bottom left shade very
pigmented? I would like for it to show as pink & vibrant as it looks on photos. So far I've not had any problems applying the shadows with my regular brushes.
It is pigmented but on me it doesn't show much as I'm very pale and have a cool-toned complexion. It blends into my skin, I'm NW15/20. But on skins darker than mine I would expect it to be very obviously pink. Here are my swatches, I also don't have issues applying these with my MAC brushes, but I do use applicators as well and get the best pigment when I apply them straight over a cream base. :)

Any particular recommendations among the Chanel ones for sort of blue/ grey eyes (the exact colour of my eyes is sort of puzzling)?
I can't think of any of the quads that wouldn't work, but it may just come down to your personal color preferences.

Rivoli is supposed to be delivered today and I just ordered Vendome. Next I will get Camelia, Cambon, and Mademoiselle and I done with these quads. They really last long without creasing. Loving my Chanel purchases.

ENJOY!!! Once you've had the chance to try them all I'd love to know the one that's your favorite!

The colors appear light to me, not necessarily dull. Interestingly, this is Sara's "least favorite." See her additional impressions via the second link below.
Lighter shades tend to make my eyes appear larger. I'm still not convinced Tissé Mademoiselle shouldn't find a place in my stash.

So far I have Poesie, Rivoli, Gabrielle, & Venitien. I don't "do" blues so Riviera is out. Trying to decide if I need the last few, I know asking you guys to talk me out of something is pointless, just wondered.
We have the same ones Meleftie, but my Vendome & Camélia will arrive on Friday. Since Poésie is the only one that's limited edition, I'd say you can pick up the others
at your leisure, if there's any such thing in makeup addiction. I'm not talking you out of it---how could I when I've already ordered it. Check out Sara's thoughts on it.

Hi, After looking at all those reviews and swatches online (including Sara's, http://www.beautyscene.nl/p/154256/mijn_review_van_de_nieuwe_chanel_les_4_ombres_met_swatches, etc) Tisse Mademoiselle was actually my second favourite of the quads; I just personally find that those particular swatches look lacklustre to me :)

Yeah I've poured over Sara's awesome reviews and swatches. Problem is her skin tone is MUCH different then mine. The closest beauty blogger I've found to me skintone wise is Karen from Makeup and Beauty Blog. Here are her swatches: http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/cosmetics/chanel-quadra-eyeshadow-quad-fall-2014/

We're talking about Vendome right? Well, it sounds like Karen was liking it for herself.

Maybe Karen will get to wear it soon to give you an even better idea.

I am dying here I thought I was done with Chanel until the holidays

I just got my goodies from Nordies....

My Dior and my beautiful .....Dentelle, innocence ,hesitation and songe....the only thing that I am still waiting for is the TF blush.

Now these beautiful pallets are calling my name....but which to choose???....I can't think!
icon_eek.gif

I know I want Venitien, and maybe Rivoli........but Karen looks beautiful in Poesie (which I don't see anywhere) so maybe Vendome ?

To your conundrum w/the Chanel palettes. Poésie is a must---if that helps, but then I also have Vénitien, Rivoli & Vendome.
Congrats on your other goodies---all great choices, & I hope you really enjoy them! I'm also waiting for the TF fall release.

Thank you .....you have been so helpful, I only got the TF blush in Ravish and will wait on the new collection otherwise I will go with your advise on the TF pallets.

I am going to limit myself to just 3 for now .....so since I don't see Poesie anywhere( and its my first choice) I will start with Venitien and Rivoli ......

Poésie sold out pretty quickly and happens to be the one that's limited edition. If I see it again I'll let you know because it didn't sell at all merchants---maybe it'll resurface
at a store that didn't sell it initially. I think you will love Vénitien and Rivoli!!!
