The frog is too cute.

About the bags... over here, about once or twice a year we have invitations to buy over some amount of a brand (usually 80€) and then receive these bags and a few mini-samples (I haven't bought mascars in general - very popular in these packs - in years). It's been awhile since I got anything from CHANEL in this format, but I assume it continues the same for them as well.

Some of the blogs that the brands send that stuff to, sometimes receive the exact same bag. I wouldn't be very sad about not getting them, because besides the brand, they're usually not that great (and ruin themselves really fast).

It is true I haven't received any of these invitations over a year though, but my country is sometimes ignored in general so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I love this, what a sweet and creative idea!! When my youngest was little I had the thought to make a felt Christmas tree with felt ornaments that he could play with.. The idea was that it would distract him from the real tree HAH. I never did get around to it. So awesome that you made the time to do this!

:flowers: Thank you! It does take time. Funny that you tried to distract him from the real tree. We kind of did that this year so she wouldn't pull the big tree down. She got just a little tree with her own felt decorations. She loved it & it worked out quite well.

I smile every time I come here & see the photo of the frog below lol.

It would be very nice if Chanel offered that bag with a certain $ purchase. I don't want to have to buy other items I don't want that they may put in the bag as a whole purchase. Not sure if that is what they are going to do. I hope not.

I stopped by the Chanel counter yesterday to see if they had the new Les Beiges powders, but they only had the eye palettes and moisturizing tint. I never buy eye palettes and I don’t know what possessed me but I bought the Light eye palette. I was already sick over paying $68 (I’m an idiot and assumed they were closer to $50) and then i saw a makeup blogger give them bad reviews and felt even worse:eek: But I just read silverkis
review and she made me feel better, haha:rolleyes:

Normally, you easily get the bags when buying in one of the Chanel Beauty Boutiques which tend to open all over Europe (first ones were in Paris, then Florence, some in Germany), but -- like SlugPower -- I can assure you that they look good, but, when it comes to quality, they ruin themselves really, really fast. So, IMHO, there is nothing to envy...

And if you are as gifted as is elegant-one, you can easily buy a good-quality bag and then trace the Chanel-lettering, colouring it or embroiding... I never could do that, but it should be 'easy', if you are talented.
