Hey I just came from my Pro Store and I walked away with..... NOTHING !!!! I looked @ all collections (Cham Pale, Stylishly Yours, Peacocky & Mickey Contractor). Nothing impressed me, alot of stuff looked like things I already had. Even the blue lippie didn't wow me. Honestly I dont see myself wearing that color on a regular day. Since I saved some $$$, I'm gonna check out a few items from Nars!!!

My God, Flaunting It and Vanity Fair are now on my list! I need Flaunting It, in particular. I'm wavering on Peacocky again. I just don't know. Something tells me it's so unique I have to own it, but that's $18 dollars just sitting in a drawer.

I'm just starting to go through Temptalia's posts, but one thing jumped out at me- she gave the MegaMetal shadows an A+ rating. I have never seen her rate anything that high. Now I'm intrigued. I just had a nap so that my old bones can stay up tonight and it's like I woke up to a very nice surprise.

Yeah she loves the texture and they are crazy pigmented. I don't think you can lose with any shade. It's just a matter of preference. It's too bad I only want Noir Plum. I was going to do Dalliance, also but I can live with just Patina or Satin Taupe.

Her post made me reconsider the collection as well. I was starting to think I was going to mostly make purchases from the Mickey Contractor collection. But, because of her raves about the texture and pigmentation I think I'm going to end up getting three or four. That sucks cause I'm trying to follow a budget for once. So the more I get from Peacock the shorter my list for Mickey is going to get. That is unless, I can "find" extra money between now and then.

^ I once found $20 in my sofa, so here's hoping you have the same luck- it'd buy you at least one more thing. My list of shadows has definitely increased after seeing her swatches. I'm realizing that the gorgeous orange-gold colour that I thought was Tweet Me in previous swatches may actually have been Paparazz-she. And now that seems to have crept on my list. Peacocky is less opaque than I wanted (I find odd colours look better if you can't see any colour bleeding through them to remind you just how different they are.) but I'll grab it anyway, because I'm not going to find a dupe for that too easily.

Flaunting It is looking like a definite, but I'm having the devil's own job trying to narrow down my eyeshadow list - I want nearly all of them. Ego is beautiful, but if I'm honest with myself I rarely wear green eyeshadow. Unflappable has been dropped from my list, too, as none of the swatches I have seen anywhere can persuade me that it will look like other than smutty coloured on me.
Paparazz-she has made it onto my list, possibly dropping Saffron from Mickey C in the process, but I hope comparison swatches might be available before either collection is available online.

I was one who said I can't be wasting my money on more shadows, but I want some of the shadows. For me, Temptalia's swatches are spot on because they are not heavy as Karla's so here I go..

haha just breathe! and remember, lip glosses only last about 4 months...and how many tubes do you ACTUALLY finish? I've only finished one.

I have crossed all of the shadows off of my list. They are not as deep and dramatic as I was hoping. I am really let down by them. I am sure the quality is great, but that doesn't matter if I don't love the shades. I never expected to love the lip products so much, but I want six of them: Super, Temper Tantra, Love Peck, Scandelicious, So Vain, Woo Me.

I've never finished a single gloss or any makeup product, for that matter. The closest I came was Cult of Cherry lipgloss which I had maybe one or two applications left and just abandoned. I love all the colors so much and I think I can rock it with my skin color. I'm just trying to tell myself that stuff hangs around my local stores for a long time.
I took Peacocky off my list, but on Temptalia, I think I might be able to make it work. It has shimmer, which helps and the fact that it's not completely opaque, but buildable may work in my favor. Decisions, decisions.
