I'm glad to see everything was up when I looked this morning. My counter is a mess 99% of the time, so I hate going there. I only ordered Love Peck and Flaunting It. I'm excited to try the new formula!
Great choices!
I had a chance to see everything today. MAC/MU lovers, the new formula is HOT! I am wearing Love Peck right now, and I ate a bagel and drank from a straw and the color is still on. Love Peck looks exactly like Dark Deed from VV. It does not look like Hang Up. Its deeper and the color is more intense. A little goes a long way. This gloss formula is weightless, but powerful; and the coverage is flawless. I read someone saying you probably don't need another lipgloss. You don't... but if you LOVE lipgloss, and its your thing, you need one of these colors.
Flaunting It is a beautiful color on. Very unique. Its the most unique color of the bunch.. I am going to say that Kissable Lipcolour borders on NARS' greatness when it comes to coverage, feel and application. The gloss is really like liquid lipstick, which is why I love NARS' glosses. All MAC glosses should be like this. I hope we see more colors later this year!
Now on to the shadows.
None of the colors are really unique enough to MAC. Seriously, Temptalia had the dupe situation correct. Dandizette is Contrast, Spectacle of Yourself is Bronze (but deeper and more intense) Centre Stage is Antiqued... what she said and more. But BABY!!! When you put these shadows on your lid, they glide on and blend effortlessly. They is really no fall out and they stay put. I was able to apply and blend the color with the 217 and that's it. Usually when I use the 217 to blend, I have to apply more color and build. Not with these. You can do windshield wiper motions for days, and still have a beautiful hue on your lids. There was no fall out and when I went to tap off the excess, little to no product came off the brush. A little goes along way here as well. I love this formula better than any veluxe pearl or starflash. Seriously, MAC could dc'd Veluxe Pearls and just do these and I would be happy.
I am wearing Centre Stage now and it looks the same as it did when I applied it about 1 o clock. I am definitely getting Centre Stage (cause its a true brown. it does not run red, gold, or orange) Its not like the Chocolate Brown pigment cause that runs red orange. Its a true brown) & Spectacle of Yourself. I have Bronze, but Spectacle is like its older and more sophisticated sister. I forgot what was similar to Papparzz-she, but its gorge and would look good with Tweet Me and Spectacle..., especially, if you want to do sort of a monochromatic look. Ego and Dalliance would look great together cause there is a twinge of light green in Dalliance. Ego showed up like the Antique Green pigment on my skin, with less teal and a bit more green. Very pretty!
All the colors are very nice. I say get the ones similar to the perm colors that you don't have but want. The collection is awesome because it has new products, but not to the point where you have to over haul to enjoy it. 3 products tops works for me, both lips and shadows.
Peacocky was worth the wait, boasts of something new, and a nice way for MAC and their buyers to start off 2011!
