I'm glad to see everything was up when I looked this morning. My counter is a mess 99% of the time, so I hate going there. I only ordered Love Peck and Flaunting It. I'm excited to try the new formula!

For the first time ever in my MAC purchasing years (since late 2006), I actually placed an order online for a collection. I'm having Lasik eye surgery on Thursday and wouldn't be able to see this collection till Sunday and I don't wanna miss out. It's beena while since I've been excited about a colelction. So i ended up ordering:

- Unflappable
- Prance
- Spectacle of Yourself

I didn't order any lip products coz I need to always see lip stuff on my own lips. For the eyeshadows it didn't matter to me that much but lip products are a whole other story. I want Woo Me for sure but if it sells out before i get to see check it out it def would't kill me :D

Lmfao! I love side eye even when it's directed at me. Why didn't you try talking some sense into me? It's always welcome. Temptalia recommended it for dark skin. I don't consider myself especially dark, but by her definition, I think I fall into that category. I think some people are too typical with what they suggest for a particular skin tone. Temper Tantra might be decent but it's not the kind of color I like.
Oh and we can be blue lipped sisters.
My sis is NW15 and thinks I'm dark skinned

. I barely make it to NW25 when i don't spray tan, so not even considered medium stoned. It's really all relative I guess. I consider myself light medium. NC/NW30 to NC/NW40 would be medium and I would say NC45 is considered dark skinned. All that matters is in the end it's not just my skintone that dictates what I get, also my lip pigmentation and hair colour and also my mood. So really it's hard to find someone very similar to me to take their swatch for 100% unfortunately :( But you are correct it's hard to classify ppl into boxes and make recommendations based on that.

I'm usually a matte or pearl girl, but the original version of these I really liked. Now frosts to me are like a cross to a vampire
I'm very careful with frosts too - are you saying that these new shadows are much too frost?

I'm drawn to the lighter colours in this collection - yet they seem over the top frosty - what are you getting?

I don't know for sure as I haven't seen them yet. But, I found the last metal shadows to be quite alright for me even though they are Metallic - not frosts. You can sheer the metal shadows out too. They really aren't like a really frosty or glittery shadow.

I got Unflappable, Center Stage & Dandizette & will most likely get Spectacle of Yourself.

I had to order by phone. For some reason I couldn't check out using a gift card and credit card. :/ I got So Vain, Tempter Tantra, Super, and Love Peck. I decided against Woo Me, because it has glitter. I decided against Scandelicious because I already have a similar colored product. I get more money on the 10th or 11th, and if there is anything left I might do a second Peacocky haul.

Urgh, too bad you couldn't use the gift card! I was surprised when you said Woo Me has glitter - I can barely notice it even now that you've said something! There is only the tiniest, almost imperceptible bit of shimmer. I guess you're right that it's not completely shimmer-free. For me, it's probably as close as I'll get!

EDIT: Good choice on the Spectacle, Elegant! :p

To me it seems glittery, and I prefer no shimmer or glitter.

Can't wait to see some swatches and hear reactions from the ladies who got to order. I have to admit, it was hard for me to hold back, but I do so love going and checking everything out in person.

@Shadowy Lady- Good luck with your surgery!

I'm glad I saw the swatches on Temptlia, I don't need to get as much from this launch as I thought I would.

I might just end up with Sex-pectations, Spectacle of Yourself, and MAYBE Odalisque.

I with some of you, I cant help myself when it comes to brown eyeshadows lol

Great choices!

I had a chance to see everything today. MAC/MU lovers, the new formula is HOT! I am wearing Love Peck right now, and I ate a bagel and drank from a straw and the color is still on. Love Peck looks exactly like Dark Deed from VV. It does not look like Hang Up. Its deeper and the color is more intense. A little goes a long way. This gloss formula is weightless, but powerful; and the coverage is flawless. I read someone saying you probably don't need another lipgloss. You don't... but if you LOVE lipgloss, and its your thing, you need one of these colors.

Flaunting It is a beautiful color on. Very unique. Its the most unique color of the bunch.. I am going to say that Kissable Lipcolour borders on NARS' greatness when it comes to coverage, feel and application. The gloss is really like liquid lipstick, which is why I love NARS' glosses. All MAC glosses should be like this. I hope we see more colors later this year!

Now on to the shadows.

None of the colors are really unique enough to MAC. Seriously, Temptalia had the dupe situation correct. Dandizette is Contrast, Spectacle of Yourself is Bronze (but deeper and more intense) Centre Stage is Antiqued... what she said and more. But BABY!!! When you put these shadows on your lid, they glide on and blend effortlessly. They is really no fall out and they stay put. I was able to apply and blend the color with the 217 and that's it. Usually when I use the 217 to blend, I have to apply more color and build. Not with these. You can do windshield wiper motions for days, and still have a beautiful hue on your lids. There was no fall out and when I went to tap off the excess, little to no product came off the brush. A little goes along way here as well. I love this formula better than any veluxe pearl or starflash. Seriously, MAC could dc'd Veluxe Pearls and just do these and I would be happy.

I am wearing Centre Stage now and it looks the same as it did when I applied it about 1 o clock. I am definitely getting Centre Stage (cause its a true brown. it does not run red, gold, or orange) Its not like the Chocolate Brown pigment cause that runs red orange. Its a true brown) & Spectacle of Yourself. I have Bronze, but Spectacle is like its older and more sophisticated sister. I forgot what was similar to Papparzz-she, but its gorge and would look good with Tweet Me and Spectacle..., especially, if you want to do sort of a monochromatic look. Ego and Dalliance would look great together cause there is a twinge of light green in Dalliance. Ego showed up like the Antique Green pigment on my skin, with less teal and a bit more green. Very pretty!

All the colors are very nice. I say get the ones similar to the perm colors that you don't have but want. The collection is awesome because it has new products, but not to the point where you have to over haul to enjoy it. 3 products tops works for me, both lips and shadows.

Peacocky was worth the wait, boasts of something new, and a nice way for MAC and their buyers to start off 2011!
