I wanted to thank all the ladies here for sharing the looks that you're doing with these shadows. It's wonderful to get ideas of what I can try.

I also feel like I have to jump in here and defend Mating Call. I have a LOT of purple shadows and I actually don't find there's any real dupes at all. Maybe in past LE collections, but it really doesn't look like any of the current light-to-medium purple shades. It's more pink than Beautiful Iris, darker and pinker than Digit... I don't find it very similar to Violet pigment. Personally, I find this colour to be a real winner- it was one of the first ones that I picked up.

Whichever ones you get, I would start your picks based on colours you love and use all the time. Then move out from there to colours you'd like to try. There really isn't a true dud in the whole lot. Happy shopping!
I agree very much with your last statement. Just pick a color that we love to use :). It's way better than going for the hype and then realized that it didn't fit well. Besides, all the colors truly has a lovely texture!

bestbehavior, you're making me laugh as I watch the number of shadows innocently increase as the day goes on as you try to decide.
I had intended before the collection was released to limit myself to 3 shadows. I ended up with 14.

Pretty Packages, I've used Fyrinnae's Epoxy some with these shadows. It makes Prance look like it's on steroids!

(Love him)

Actually, I just used epoxy today.
Prance on lid, Centre Stage on outer third, with Satin taupe to blend the two. (I have fallen hard for Prance the last couple of days. )
Then as an after thought, I used Ego on lower lashline only.
JENN, if you like Ego wet, you will fall out
thud.gif
when you try it with Epoxy. I used a brush to apply a tiny bit along my lower lashline, then went over it with Ego. holy frijoles!
The color depth went to a new level. I kid you not!!!

I have to stop looking at my eyeshadow in the mirror and moving from side to side. People are going to start thinking I'm a little off kilter. (start, hahahahahahah)

I really have to NOT buy any of the lipcolours at all - and I blame you Spectra-ettes on the amount of shadows I am bringing home.........!!!! In a good way of course

Is Mating Call very different from Creme de Violet? I have most of MAC's purples but of course that didn't stop me from getting NP and Ego even though I have so many greens. I have a 15 palette and a half each of greens and purples and that's not counting pre-made quads, palettes, and other brands. I do love both Beautiful Iris and Digit. I need stay off this thread but it keeps pulling me back. This is an amazing collection.

I need help from you very wise make up women, who already talked me into getting toooooo many shadows from this collection....!!!! (I mean - I didn´t even post in this thread, and I am hooked just reading...!!

I had a friend buy the 7 shadows... (SEVEN!!!!) I was sure I wanted to get in the UK since it´s cheaper there, but I am on the fence about 3, and after reading here today 4 actually!!! And I should sooo stop, but they are so gorgeous!

And now for the questions - Paparrazz-she for green eyes, NC25 skin - what are your thoughts?? (I love Paradisco and Samoa Silk by the way and use them pretty often..)
Can I pull it off for daytime looks also?
And then I am suddenly thinking about Mating Call too... I bought Noir Plum and it seems like those two are a perfect match??? But since I have to stop somewhere I am thinking that there might be dupes???? Otherwise I have to choose between MC and Ego....

And lastly - I love Shroom, but is the formula enought to justify buying Peek At You??

Hope you can help - I know you guys are the people to ask

uhmm I have paprazz-she and it's beautiful and unique! So you MUST have it^^ I also have noir plum and mating call.. MC is dupable but I like it more than noir plum!!! I don't own ego but it is dupable too. In my opinion peek at you it's not very pigmented..but this is only based on my own tastes!

I second everyone who said that Paparazz-She is a must, I saw a couple youtube gurus rocking this color. I would give Ego a miss, if you already own Humid. The difference between the two is subtle. I like Dalliance over Peek at you, because of the unique color and texture. It is hard to explain, but Dalliance is very very unique. It looks great near the tearduct, and gives a great pop. My favorite shadows from this collection are Dalliance, Paparazz-she, Tweet Me, and SOY. HTH.

I'm thinking about getting more of these shadows instead of giving in to the weird desire I have to get one of the Wonder Woman quads ( I know they swatch terrible, I think I just want one because of the packaging).... so which two should I get instead? I already have Prance, Noir Plum, Ego, and Odalisque.

I received Odalisque in the mail today and I love it so much!!!! Now I want more of these eyeshadows!! I must own all of them!

With your colours, I would say Mating Call, Top of the Posh, or SoY (whichever you like bes - I say SoY is the most versatile!!) and DALLIANCE for sure!!!! :) Ridiculously gorgeous with all of those colours and more, but especially Ego :)

Dandizette or Centre Stage would also be good choices... but I'm not helping by giving you more! lol Dandizette is awesome with Odalisque and with NP, and Centre Stage is awesome for deepening creases and pairing with the purples. I personally prefer SoY, but you may prefer a cooler-toned brown. :)

Wearing Prance for the first time today. Used it on the outer 2/3 of my lids and Vanilla on the inner 1/3 and as a highlight. Then used Print softly in the crease and a bit of Black Tied do darken the outer corner. Add some black liner and mascara and poof. Nice subtle eye with a bit of shimmer.

Paired with Azalea blush and Gesina lipstick.

I can't wait to see what other Mega Metal colours might come our way.

I wore Paparazz-she on my lid, with Centre Stage in the crease and over the outer third of my lid (over Paparazz-she) and Dalliance in the inner corner as a highlight and brow highlight for my 2 hour dance class today. I wore it over UDPP, and it still looks fab. I nearly didn't bother buying Centre Stage, but I'm glad I did now.

Yesterday, I wore Noir Plum and Top Of The Posh, over Pixie Epoxy, and it all went yucky, and some of the shadow from the crease area actually lifted off. I think maybe I need to let the Epoxy dry more before applying eyeshadow over it. Any tips?

Well, I spent a long time, with a long post. OH Man I hate that!
makes me kind of sick

Well, it was a really, really awesome post. Award-winning quality, really.

It would have blown your mind, lol.

UGH!!!!

Anyway, the condensed, not as awesome version:
Did you use your normal primer first?
Did you use a tineensie amount? Like it doesn't seem like enough amount?
It's set when it's not wet, but tacky feeling. Then I apply. With the Peacocky, since they're mostly vibrant, I've used the Epoxy mostly only on inner lid, and yesterday the lower lashline. I know it's meant for loose shadows, but I think since the Peacocky are soft, it works.
UM, crap. don't remember what else.

Here are some vids, if you want:

I like when this one says "If you use too much, you will think this product is crap" :)

( I don't know why I can't embed a video anymore, so I just changed it back to links)

Oh man, that's like trying to say which child you love best.

My final answer would be Dandizette and Paparazz she (or SOY)

And I think choosing two of these over WW palette is a very smart choice.
