MAC Quite Cute Discussion

So annoying - I went into town to swatch playing koi lipstick, and then returned to my computer to order it (& claim my free mascara) - just to find that the website has sold out while I was at the shop (less than an hour!) and then I logged on to Debenhams' website, where it was still showing in stock, only for it to change to 'out of stock' before I could complete my order!!!

Now I have to either miss it completely or go running back through to the store. Argh!!!!

it's ridiculous how it isn't on their home page yet. MAC is usually really good with having things up on time. Their website really needs updated....get rid of the Wonder Woman and Jeanius stuff & move the new stuff in!

go to the site MAC & you'll find the QC stuff...it's just not on the homepage yet. this is insane

I can't believe this collection still isn't up on their website. For Heaven's sake MAC. We love you, but this isn't how to treat loyal customers.
Glad I ordered mine through Macy's. According to the Macy's website only Playing Koi & Miss Behave are still available. Not sure about anything else.

it really is. i figure it's better this way, though. i'll go to a counter and help someone work on their sales goals, lol! i still want to kick whomever is in charge of their site in the shins, though.

I agree with you MAC usually is very good with putting their collections online early or on time. Maybe whoever is suppose to do it isn't in or just isn't on the ball. I hope they don't do this with the other upcoming collections. At least it's up if you do a search on what item(s) you want. Good luck ladies! And thank you tismama for letting us know.

So, I just came back from the store....since when can we not B2M for non-special packaging lipstick, lipgloss, single shadows that belong to limited edition collections? MAC is really trippin!

i'm really disgusted with whoever is in charge of MAC's website right now. Hopefully this new stuff hits the home page by atleast the end of today!!
I hope this is just a one time thing. Shopping at MAC should be fun not stressful like this has been

You don't need a code if you buy over $50. If you buy less I believe the code is SPRING.

that's crazy! i don't know how anyone could even need 2 of them unless they wear it every single day maybe...i've never done through a lipstick

[/quote] I wouldnt be surprised if they change it to only perm items!! They are constantly changing the rules & not giving an advance notice.. Imma go to my local MAC when they open & see what they tell me.... I'll report back to ya!

i am still pondering playing koi. i have no reason to be, but am. i saw that nyx's India lipstick was a possible dupe, but want to find photos of that one.
still trying to look away from CYY. I was able to add both to my cart on mac's site finally and kept taking them out.

trying to skip the polishes too, but like the lipsticks, they are in and out of my cart. i need it to be friday so i can go in to a counter early and lurk for a bit.
if they let me B2M for either lipstick, though, I'm gonna smile, say thank you, and then run away before any new changes happen lol!

[/quote] This is exactly what I'm pondering! My other half is taking me shopping next Tuesday and there's a MAC counter where we're are going so I'm gonna ask the SA to apply it for me so I can see how it works with my skin tone - I may also check out Playing Koi....I'm such a sucker!

i just got a call from my local MAC counter (hr away!) and they said that Quite Cute has launched and they have the items that I put on hold. I told her to cancel that because I already went and ordered them. lol i'm so impatient!
