Thanks for the swatches I was just wondering how well do the beauty powders show up on your skin?

I am usually NC 20-25 but since i got a little sun burn and tan on my cheeks making me NC30 or more right now, i need to pack it on or the color doesn't show ;/

Oh no, now I want Summer Shower again, and Ever Hip x2 ! But I really can't make my mind up about Mlle, one moment I think it'd not be a good idea to get it, but then I want it again. I'll have to wait and see more swatches, especially someone as pale as me wearing it. I'd love to see comparison swatches of the light b/p (I keep forgetting the name) vs. Play it Proper.

A couple of people have said in this thread that Temptalia said Alpha Girl is more pigmented that Illamasqua's Hussy, but she actually said Hussy is more pigmented:

"Illamasqua Hussy is similar in color (though it is pinker) but Hussy is significantly more pigmented."

Just in case anyone is getting confused!

it doesn't appear white on the lips actually it just looks like teal glitter

which s why i can't wait to have it! over lollipop loving it will be amazing!

yay for more pics! I am kinda dissapointed in Summer SHower. I imagined it as a pastel aqua shade that is sheer but buildable but it doesn't even look aqua and reminds me of a pale dazzle lipstick. I don't know, maybe in person I will fall in love with it. I am getting ever hip though and that's about it.

Sort of. So Vain is very opaque and will look similar from person to person. Ever hip either turns pinker or oranger from person to person. I have both and they are not substitutes. Ever hip is brighter. Both are worth having if you like corals

I've made my list - I'm sooo excited for this collection, it's going to be expensive for me! Who knows how much I will actually be able to get when it's released, and how much I'll have to trawl Specktra sales later for though, since our first child is due around the time this will be released in NZ, and my finances and priorities will be elsewhere for obvious reasons!

- Ever Hip Lippy - I've been looking for this since LOL was released, it WILL be mine!!
- Summer Shower Lippy, this looks really versatile, and I surprised myself by loving the blue shimmer in Flurry of Fun lipglass with To the Beach last year.
- Bows & Curtseys eyeshadow
- Budding Beauty lipgelee - maybe... I've never tried the lipgelees before, and this colour looks like a gorgeous start to a potential addiction!
- Alpha Girl & Light Sunshine Beauty Powders

I'm loving the imprint and the colours! MUST HAVE.

There will only be the flower print at the surface of the powders and eyeshadows....

I think my list is fix now: Alpha Girl BP, Bows&Curtseys and Ever Hip. Not too bad, not too bad. Light Sunshine looks nice, but I have PiP. Summer Shower looks very nice on Temptalia, but Glazes are not my fav finish.

I think I made a good decision in calling when the opened to put my original list on hold(I wasn't planning on getting any lipgelees) because it looked as though Ever Hip had sold out as well as Alpha Girl(which I didn't want anyway). I added the lipgelees because when I swatched them in person they looked absolutely gorgeous and since I B2M'd for three of the items, I had a little extra cash to spare.

i'm not shocked that alpha girl sold out - it was very popular when heatherette was released too. sadly i missed buying it!

Oh, that would be great, more time to save money! I spent way too much this month, if it's only Surf Baby that's coming out in May, I can spend a little on something else, since I already have the blush and don't want anything else from that collection. I probably buy me some n/p instead, I want some nice bright colours for summer.
