I don't have Bite of an Apple (and sort of kicking myself about it), Ripe Peach, My Highland Honey or Marine Life (sold the ones I had) but I keep thinking that I am getting suckered into getting My Paradise by the flower and the color the gold overlay gives. >_<

Alisha, I've been wanting to try Konad for the longesttttt time but have never jumped the ship (or whatever the expression is lol).
I agree, Good Lovin' does look pretty sheer but it gives off this peachy color goodness that I just cannot resist. ^^;
I love how My Paradise looks with the coral and gold mixed but that only lasts so long...

So I got home and opened my order. I ordered two Hibiscus lipsticks but I've only got one in the box. I am really peed off, my amazon order has also randomly been sent back without me getting it so it just isn't a good day for me. I couldn't ring mail order to get it sorted out because they were closed so now I am going to have to ring them tomorrow but I am at work and I have hardly any minutes left on my phone for this month so I'm going to have to sneak a phonecall from someone's office. I don't understand why MAC seem to get my orders wrong for some reason whenever it is a special collection. I also don't understand how difficult it is to read the number 2 on a packing slip!

Gracie90, did you get the missing bits from your order yet? Did they question you at all when you rang them? I don't want them to think I'm making it up because I'm not.

Ahh that sucks! Stupid people in the mac warehouse They didn't actually question me that much when I rang customer service, I just sort of laughed about it and the lady was super nice too. Unfortunately, she said that they would only contact me if something else went wrong, and so I just have to wait and hope! I think that as long as you explain yourself, they have to believe you

do you guys know if they really hold the items in your shopping bag even if somebody else buys it?

cos im thinking i should get a lippie but i wont be in usa till june 12th so i cant pay for it cos i wont be home when it gets thr....do they hold the items for u? or somebody buys it and its gone from bag>?

Well... I had Undercurrent in my shopping bag for quite a while and it never disappeared from there... but that's just my experience.

I've tried to buy something when a special collection has come out, had it in my basket but when I'd gone to checkout, it had disappeared because it was sold out. I'm not sure that they do hold it for you, I think it is just whoever checks out first, gets it really... although that isn't always the case either because I've had things cancelled on me too when I've paid for them.

Well I had to live chat mac anyways and threw in about surf baby this is what she said

I can't really explain myself, I can only tell them that it isn't there and read off of my packing slip. They can either send it out or refund me. Last time I rang them, the lady was really nice so I just hope it gets sorted out quickly and easily. It probably is just a silly human error, everybody makes mistakes but it is frustrating that they don't seem to check the orders very well. We shall see come tomorrow. I hope your stuff turns up soon, if it doesn't, get back on the phone to chase them up about it. Emailing them is pointless because they take about three days to respond.

I love my Konad plates - you should seriously try them! I've been meaning to buy more plates for ages...

If it makes you feel any better, every time I've had a problem and called them, they've been super nice and never even showed a sign of doubt in me. Is Hibiscus sold out yet on your site?? If not, then it really shouldn't be problem.

Where is the best place to call ahead and reserve products for this collection? I am gonna try that this time instead of stalking the website. Anyone call their local MAC store or have luck reserving at Macy's? There is a Macy's close to my house and the MAC store is about a thirty minute drive, but harder for me to get to on my lunch break. Do you ladies know if they will reserve stuff before the collection comes out???

Those blush sticks seem to have been swapped out at the last minute for the two perm pigments with this collection. Bit of a disappointment.

That is a very good question. Not all of the stuff is special packaging, but I bet they won't let Pro members use their discount.

No special packaging collections qualify for the PRO discount. If the item is in standard black packaging then the PRO discount can be used.

Actually thats not true. It just depends on what MAC wants to do at the time. I have heard that sometimes MAC lets Pro Members use their discount on "special" packaging. Its just when they use licensed stuff ie, Wonder Woman, Venous Villians etc. then they will not let Pro members use their discount.
