MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

I wonder how many orders are mess up this time. I kind of hope it was enough for the packers to get a bit of a bollocking so that in future they check order slips properly! I still can't get over how Gracie got an Estee Lauder foundation instead of MAC items! I'm glad I like everything I chose though and I'm not going through this for a lipstick which doesn't suit me lol. The delivery card I got yesterday to tell me my neighbour had my box said Yodel on it too. I also thought it was strange and wondered why DHL hadn't dealt with it seeing as the tracking I had was for them so now that makes sense that they've changed name.

woah how did i miss that?! she got sent an EL foundation?! man i'd be annoyed! and i bet the person who ordered the foundation is too!

Yeah she posted it a few pages back. Haha that never occured to me, I just thought that they had randomly put in the foundation but obviously they were packing another box and mixed them up. The other person would have got the better deal though, Gracie was told she could keep the foundation but it was the wrong colour but if they said that to the other person they would have got something they could actually wear!

Just booked my 'in-store' Surf Baby event as my usual MA at the MAC store called me. She raved about the pigment saying I'm gonna love them. We'll see. At the least I may pick up Surf USA in store and do B2M for Pink Poodle lipglass. At the most I may get the blue/mint/gold/teal pigment stack. We'll see.

Eek! It's really coming out early as we all thought?

If it's next week, then apprx a week from now it'll be online, and May 19th in stores. (If this is true - everyone always gives us different answers! lol)

Woohoo!

Just got a call from my MA to tell me they've unpacked their Surf Baby and have testers ready in the back room and invited me in to check it all out on Thurs!

The bad news is they only were sent THREE

of each pigment stack - so few, they can't even make testers for display of them. And this is the highest volume MAC store in Los Angeles, so that is very freaky.

The good news is he grabbed one of each for me and hid them in his personal drawer (he's one of the managers, so I guess he can get away with it). 'Can't sell them to me until 2 weeks from Thursday. I don't think I want the pink/neutral one currently, but considering how frighteningly scarce these are going to be, maybe I'll get it anyways and if I'm not using it, pass it along.

In any case, I'll do one of my usual, long-winded write ups with my opinionated opinions!

This collection is taking too long to come online. I got the mac itch today and ordered $100+ of perm items from the site on my card -_- what is wrong with me?!!!
