Pictures of Nylon (pro pan), Short Shorts and Manila Paper (from Colour 4 quad) Swatches on skin Left to Right: Nylon, Short Shorts and Manila Paper Nylon is much yellower than the other 2 eyeshadows, Manila Paper is a tad yellower than Short Shorts but more pigmented which makes Short shorts a more subtle highlighter not shimmery or frosty. I Hope this helps.

I have called it quits on Mac. I am done with them holding me hostage on release dates, limited editions and not being consistent among stores. I no longer will be hunting down products, for example calling all over North America trying to find a backup of Playtime, stalking the websites except this one and generally stressing over this beauty nonsense that I love dearly. I can get my fix from a million beauty sources now (my fantasy date is Francois Nars, we can talk makeup, discuss color theory and he could do a complete face on me and it would probably be the best date of my life) so no more for me.

Saying all that, my must haves from the collection and if I don't get them "Oh well".

Sun Blonde, I want this to be everything Bright Sunshine couldn't handle on me because the pink kept shining through.
Surf Baby, yeah I never wear teal really except the weekends but the green factor is roping me in.
Bust Out, I am addicted to anything purple. Is it dupeable? of course. Do I care? have mercy, NO!
Hisbiscus, it's a orange lustre, had me at lustre
My Paradise, bastard child Shontay, yes but you still have to love those too, lol.

I thought Hibiscus was a creamsheen?

:) Thanks for the swatches, I was looking all over for that comparison. Yeah I kinda want it for the creamsheen formula but I was hoping it would be more red toned but since you described TT more red, I don't know if I want it.

I get the goods at the preview party tomorow and the only product that is set in stone is the Surf The Ocean pigment stack. Can't wait!

TT looked horrible on me, i wanted to love it so much but it didn't work for me, it clahed with my yellow undertones.
Did you try it with Cherry lip liner or another reddish liner? It's amazing. I can't wear it on it's own either. Also, you might want to look into a Nars gloss called Wonder. That+Toxic Tale is incredible. I can't wear TT on it's own either. It's too jarring. So, I just use the liner around the lips and blend.
I have called it quits on Mac. I'm just tired of all these little bastards Mac keeps creating. Plus, I don't like the design. It's all good, though. Someone has to want it. :peace:

This reminds me quite a bit of to the beach from last year. MAC needs to quit releasing so many unwearable purples!

Until recently I had been a pink lippy girl, not even considering orange, peach, coral or purple. I am now hooked on the purples especially, thanks to MAC's recent collections. I find them very wearable, and they have been my lippies of choice for the pas few months.
